Question for the guys with wives/girlfriends who see SPs... are you still turned on by them enough to be intimate?

I've been dating this girl for a year now. So I've stopped seeing SPs almost that time. While she is pretty good looking and also pretty good in bed, she can't compare to some of the top notch SPs I've seen in my time. Hence I am not as turned on by her and I don't always want to have sex with her. Of course we still get it on, but sometimes it is hard for me to do the deed. I've been spoiled by the quality of SPs that I have seen in the past . I'm wondering if most other people have experienced the same thing as me. Or if they have no problems wanting to get it on with their significant other, even though they don't look as good or will do some of the things that a quality SP will....

It's a legitimate problem. My SO is wondderful in dozens of ways, but she's not a 19 year old Asian into mutual rimming. SPs probably have spoiled me for normal sex with amateurs.

Obviously though time will eventually catch up to her, I figure she's got another 10 years and then she'll be past her best before date. A wife could be someone you come home to, who cooks your meals, takes care of you when you're sick, nurtures your kids blah blah In our fast paced world and influence of media, its safe to say that there will always be some other women who turn you on more than your own wife xP

Tough question Don. The one thing I can tell you is that truth be told almost everyone here would prefer to have someone who loved them, than a life of SPs.

So far I have had good luck fishing in the 12% pond so I think I'll keep doing that. I am just an average looking guy, but for whatever reason, I have always had good luck with women. Perhaps because I'm in good shape, I can tell a joke, and I have a good job? Maybe because most of my friends have always been women? Maybe because I've had a string of good looking girlfriends (and wife) and I'm not intimidated by attractive women? I don't know, I've always been kind of surprised that I'm able to get the women I get. Honestly, so are others--the #1 reaction I get when I introduce my wife is, "She is YOUR wife?".

I'm certainly not cursing my luck.

yeah we can still be intimate, but you have to train your brain to get out of the sex/lust/sp addicted mindframe and into a relationship with a human being. Easier said than done.

I think I need to see one too. I don't trust them too much though. Don't be surprised if after a number of sessions your shrink would tell you that he cannot help you since every person in your circumstances would become just as crazy as you have, which means it's normal

I am not saying that there is no attractive 40+, I am saying that those who are available are either not attractive, or have too many kids, or have absorbed so much poison from their previous relationship that they could contaminate lake Ontario if they walk into it
