US and NATO troops lives have been lost in Afghanistan in the course of 20 years....it took 1 week for Afghani gov't troops to strip down their uniforms and abandon their posts....what a fucking fuck up this is...
It's been a good 20 years with relatively little international terror emanating from Afghanistan. Is that wiped out because the west decided to stop spending so much money (and lives) doing this?

And here we are fighting over street names. It certainly puts things into perspective.

You are kidding, right? The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq resulted in ISIS.

And ISIS was almost completely squelched. And international terrorism by these groups has been minimized.

“Speaking to the PA news agency, Graham Knight, 69, father of 25-year-old RAF Sergeant Ben Knight who was killed when his Nimrod aircraft exploded in Afghanistan in 2006, said the British government should have moved more quickly to get civilians out.

He said:

So you think the taliban are good? I suppose you don’t think women should have any rights shouldn’t be allowed to go to school or do anything without a man’s permission too? we went in Afghanistan destroyTerrorists

You have it ass backwards. The Taliban would not have killed any Americans and Canadians, if they had been left in peace.

Sorry, but you're just wrong. Fundamentalist zealots never leave the rest of us alone. Not in the history of the planet. International terrorism emanating from training bases in Afghanistan preceded occupation of the country.

Most of Al Quada's training camps were in Pakistan.

No Afghans took part in 9/11, the Taliban not even remotely responsible.

Didn’t we call contractors “mercenaries” in the good old days?

20 years of US war for nothing.
Thousands and thousands dead and its all right back where it was before the US war.
Stupid colonialism.
Stupid war.

Its much worse then that!! If there was another terrorist strike from Al Quede based in Afganistan, what do you think the USA is gonna do about it. Invade again? Now they have BILLIONS in arms and money thanks to the USA They will probably get more $$ as they sell hostages back to the USA. I predict that Afghanistan will become the testing grounds for autonomous hunter/killer drones. from the US. I would not at all be surprised if every asset they left there is also tagged in some way electronically to make it easy to target. But then again they seem so dumb it is possible they have no plan whatsoever.

The father has no more experience than any of us who were not in Afghanistan just because you had a family member killed there does not make you an expert

There’s no shortage of small arms in Afghanistan even before the US small arms will not change anything over there, yes they captured some vehicles and aircraft that they won’t be able To maintain and will quickly become useless and there’s also a very good chance drone and cruise missile strikes will take out any aircraft or vehicles the US don’t want them to have
