Prostate Biopsy

The biopsy is not a fool proof method. Basically they are randomly inserting a needle into the prostate and if non of the 6 insertions hit the cancerous spot, you will get a clean report and you still
have the cancer without knowing it. Best is to request your doctor to request a blood test to provide scores on both PSA and PSA2. The PSA2 score can then be age adjusted to determine if you are
in danger or not. My urologist age adjusted my PSA2 score and told me I didn't have to see him any more, just have my family doctor do a finger prostate physical exam. would be fine.

My family doctor told me once he had a bad experience with his own biopsy, and he was bleeding once done before leaving the clinic because they hit a blood vessel. I had blood in my urine for a few day after the biopsy and I once went to get an erotic massage not long after wards, and the protein that came out has some blood in it and it scared the poor MPA to no end. I have to help her understand it was from the
prostate biopsy and not cancerous. Poor girl.

I think that blood in your semen is fairly common.

CIM? Probably not a good idea.
This is not common. At least not in my experience. Not that I have seen and I think I have seen my fair share of semen.

I could be wrong though.

I was talking about post-biopsy. The more recent it's been, the more likely it is to occur. And I was lumping semen and urine together.

Is it true your prostate gets healthier the more sex you have?

I personally do not know for sure.

But better than asking a bunch of laymen, there's a site called Wikipedia that may have info. Give it a try.

I would personally prefer an MRI since it's less invasive.
It was a few years ago but I heard they run the MRI machines 24/7. I imagine they still do.

My appointment was like 11:30PM but when I got there they said there was a huge accident with many injured so they needed the MRI machine for those victims and my appointment got cancelled.

Of course a star NHL player would gain access to an MRI immediately. Do they go to a private clinic?

Go over the border then and pay for it yourself.

I believe as well that MRSIs are better.

They have private MRIs in Quebec as well - I had a knee done there and the insurance I had back then even agreed to pay for it. Maybe a MRI/Montreal mongering trip!
