I find it interesting how so many people here speak of a loss of sensation when using a condom, because this is something I have not experienced. Is this an issue of the brand of condom used? (I primarily have used either Lifestyles or Kimono). Or perhaps I have a more sensitive skin than many men? Or the fact that I'm circumcised? (I'm curious if there is a difference in sensation when using condoms or not between men who are circumcised versus those who are not)
Unless you have used condoms all of your life, for sure you would not notice the difference. But for those
of us who have been in long and intimate relationships as I have, can understand what the the deference
is. There is nothing more close than bbs. than with someone close to you. And someone you are true to.

+1

Like I said, I don't know anyone that actually "LIKES" condoms... they just like what they allow us to do, (prevention of unwanted "issues" e.g. STD, STI, and pregnancy for those of us that aren't "fixed" LoL) and as such, they are a necessary evil in this day and age for those members of society (like ourselves) that partake in recreational sex.

I had the same problem too, I found out that the main problem was watching too much hardcore porn almost on a daily basis. what I did to rid of this is to limit my consumption of hardcore porn and replaced it with something soft, my niche was nude athletic/fit women. it took months to overcome this, but it was worth it, especially when a long term girlfriend came into the scene and didn't want this to make her think that I didn't find her attractive. It's a HUGE deal for women, believe me.

also, the size of the condom is another deal, I can't wear any condom that is 52mm wide, 56 to 58mm is my size, if it's too tight, it feels like my snake is getting strangled.

After the problem was solved, I'm better than ever, one time I came from a bbbj, a minute later, I was getting soft, but I put on a condom and entered her, slowly but surely I became rock hard again, and went right at it just within 3 mins after I first came.

I learned it's about making my dick sensitive again that helped me, not much with the type of condom I wear, or how tight a pussy is.

Have you ever used female condoms?

For a lot of my clients that have a hard time getting hard with a normal condoms, could be multiple reasons...use to have an so for XX years, it's too tight etc.
We are the one wearing them and honestly 90% of the guy I've use them with, prefer them a lot.
I've always been frustrated with regular condoms. Partly, because of the dulled down sensation, but more importantly, because I get hardest when the lady that I'm with is beginning to twitch with pleasure. The problem is that when breaking to put on the condom, the interruption can be enough to literally soften the mood, making it hard to keep the condom in place, so that we can do what I enjoy best, which is shifting from daty to mish at the heat of the moment for a mutually satisfying finish.

I was having a great visit with Lani when she recognized my problem and suggested that we switch to the female condom.

When fitted, the female condom has a bit of a rubber damn look, which isn't terribly appealing visually, but the clit is still exposed enough so that I was able to warm Lani up with my tongue and when she was steaming hot and I was back to rock hard, I took the plunge and lo and behold, the sensation was great; much better than with a regular condom.

I'm now a super fan of the female condom and recommend it to anyone frustrated with the dulling effect of wearing a regular condom.

Many thanks Lani. you're awesome! :)

Man I wish I have your problem. Me, I cum in a few seconds only. If I became like you and can last forever, I would love it to fuck so long than either do a CIM or hj finish. Good heavens, hopefully next life I can do that.

I will also throw my support for the idea of using an FC2 (female condom) though Becky really provided a lot good information should you have a preference for male ones.
The reason I generally recommend a female one is that it is very different from a male condom and can be like 'starting fresh' in that you may not have the same negative associations that you have with using a male one. Your female partner will insert it, she can do so early or just before penetration so it does not need to be a break in the action, however you do need to remember to use plenty of lubrication. No matter how aroused your partner is she cannot lubricate the condom so the trick to effective use of a female condom is to always use plenty of lube.

Give it a shot and see if it helps, if not then talk to your local sex professional, there are plenty on here that might be willing provide a more hands on approach to the issue. ;)

I'm curious.

What if she uses a female condom without saying anything, for extra security and protection.

Would it feel extra tight or more difficult to penetrate with each thrust, assuming he's wearing a condom?

Can he notice in some way?

A female condom really stick out by about an inch. It's impossible to miss it. You have to "aim" your first trust.
Also using a male and female condom is a big no no because the friction is most likely to create tear in both condoms.

First off you would likely see it, female condoms are visible on the outside. If for some reason you decided to be entirely hands off, as you can also feel the outside of the female condom, and blindfolded (yet apply your own condom unbeknownst to her?) while I cannot confirm you would feel the increased friction I suspect you would, just before they break. I am however unwilling to test the theory it is inadvisable to do so as wearing two condoms together does increase the odds of tearing and that pulling sensation would probably be felt in some way, I am just not sure how that would be interpreted or why one would ever risk it. ;)
Be safe, wear one.

I am OK with either female or male condoms.
In my experience, female condoms have a better feel, but much worst "visuals".

I am fine either way, I would never request a female condom but I will be OK to use it if the lady suggests it

Female condoms are also great for duos, as there is no need to change them before swapping

Thanks Kyra.

I didn't know that it is discernible, but I would've guessed that there would be added friction or discomfort.

Where can one buy female condoms? Visit any Walmart or drugstore and all I see are the bewildering array of male condoms. Any suggestions for the best/premium/sensitive female condoms would be greatly appreciated. Price is not a concern. Thanks!
I purchase mine through Amazon

If you're going to use Kimono, my recommendation is to use lots of lube. They're infamous for breaking.
Interesting , I have never had a Kimono break but had issues with Trojan etc ... I get the large type of Kimono even though I am just above average and they seem to fit perfectly. Love the sensation of Kimono far more than the lifestyle etc

I have the same problem. And, have ever since preferred female condoms from the moment it was introduced to me during a session. But, not many offer it as an option... or maybe it's that I don't think to ask prior a date. Is it okay to ask?

All righty. Thanks. Just curious and not surprised that it's unusual.
