Yeah...

I have been reading reviews on here and ads on craigslist, that refer to the girl as being NON-PRO.

Non pro to me means someone on-line just looking for a one night fling, some quick sex....just a little fun no strings attached.

Call me silly, but if there is a price tag attached does that not infer PRO?
...I find that interesting / funny as well. But hey, people have to tell themselves what they have to tell themselves to get by I suppose.

Did I mention those are AMAZING tits? Got an AMAZING ass to match?

I think perhaps another factor to consider is that CL are a US based site and in some US jurisdictions merely carrying escort ads can result in legal
charges. I have seen a news item on cnn recently where a weekly magazine somewhere in NY state
was charged. Likely CL routinely delete ads that specifically state that the lady is a pro.
There also seems to be a misconception among many people in Canada that escorting is illegal. This is just a general observation.

Also there is a certain appeal of "non-pro". If one says they are a "non-pro" it implies that they don't see many clients or do this on a regular basis. Some guys tend to think that "pros" are greedy/not service oriented/jaded/etc where as a non-pro is "fresh meat". Not what I think, but I bet it is what plenty of others think.

Well, Non Pro attitude would mean something to me. Some women who have been in the business for a time can be very "hard", and I am not referring to ladder like abs. Now maybe that is what you want.

Some guys may prefer someone who is over age twenty one but "fresh", of course, "fresh" is a very loaded word. About the nastiest term I have ever heard one woman use to describe another is "unclean". I may want a woman who is nasty or even a hooker but unclean?

So with that in mind I guess you can get an idea of what I mean when I refer to a woman who is over twenty one and "fresh", with a positive attitude and a smile as a Non Pro.

Comment on the 'pro' part. A professional escort takes the time to put together a website.... PAY for advertising and get a place for incall if she's serious. Girls on craigslist (and I have used it to see what happens) can advertise for free. Even if they don't have a computer I've known of girls who get someone else to place their ads. Before Craigslist girls used chatlines like quest.

Comment on "the misconception that escorting is illegal".... You can get arrested.. for 'communicating', 'soliciting', and 'common baudy house' charges. Prostitution is legal in Canada but pretty much everything else surrounding it is still a criminal activity. I should know... I got arrested in the mid-nineties when a colleague from my 'day job' outed me to my professional licensing board. I was just starting up my medical practice in naturopathic medicine when it happened. My case was unusual in that my 'own people' made a formal request to have me arrested. I was a 'good girl' in the community and my neighbours had no idea I was doing incalls. Nowadays it's normally not likely that a girl gets busted for doing incalls. I even know of a friend back in Ottawa who's neighbour's son told his mother he had seen her website on the internet and she in turn called the cops on her. The cops told the neighbour my escort friend was doing nothing wrong and in the privacy of her own home. Times have changed.... in acceptance but the laws have not. This 'baudy house' charge is meant for massage parlours/brothels in areas that bother neighbours. In my case it was misused but nevertheless was legally correct. I got 'screwed' and left the biz for a while as well as my new practice. Putting a disclaimer on your site does not protect you from this but neither does it entitle anyone to arrest you. Now since I'm not protecting my identity the way I was back then I would in the same situation cause a public outcry. I get on my soapbox about this. If I had guys over in a row every day/night but didn't charge a dime I could not be arrested for having as much sex with strangers as I choose... but if I charge for it suddenly I'm a criminal.... JEESH... I told that 'swat team' of 6 guys who searched my place when I was arrested... 'can't you arrest real criminals'????

The whole concept of 'not paying for sex' is one of the most stupid and misleading things ever invented.

But when 2 people get married, its more than just "for the money or sex" They could have married somebody else but they decide to pick that person, so it can be more than just sex and money.

People do fall in love, not always and some times its only 1 way but when it happens that they both love each other--once in a while--nobody can say then it was just for sex and money they got married

Well yes but when people have and raise kids they don't look at it as paying for them. Now if the kids are a waste of time and money then they might say they wish they never had them. But if the kids do well in life then just sometimes you can even make money--you could say off your kids.

Sure Britney Spears mom is happy she had her, thats one rare case but sometimes it happens.

Beside even if you don't luck out and sex, love, kids cost you lots of $$$, once you die you can't take it with you.

You hear about Paris Hilton grand father giving 97% of his 2.3 billion dollars to charity....guess hes not too happy with the young lady :p

Well, the pros should also be amateurs as well, otherwise they will lack enthusiasm in their work, and perhaps an alternative career would be best. Unless they can fake it.
