There are several solid objects near the platform that Trump was preaching to his audience.
If that full bullet had impacted his ear, it could have caused a far more serious injury than just a grazing of his ear according to what we noticed in that video.
But why is Trump not transparent in disclosing his health record of that injury, or even prevented the hospital staff for disclosing it?

If that bullet had fully impacted that ear it could either have gone into his skull or blown off a chunk of his ear, depending on the direction of the bullet.
