The reason civil war is very possible this time around is because in the past, even when the governing bodies in the aboved mention countries where weak or inactive the had a standing army in place.
The Us has removed the army from Iraq, its as even a playing feild for all as its going to get
And I never said Irain was going to attacket Iraq, I said a Irainain led revolt (cash weapons)

I disagree. When Iraq was defeated after the first Gulf War, the army was in shambles.

Shit i have to agree again...I will try not to make it a habbit.
Their strength and capabilities were largely excaturated. This was done by the press, so it didn't look too one sided.

The republician guard stood untouched at the end of the first war
What?! Where are you getting this information?

This is wrong. MANY DIVISIONS of the Republican Guard were savaged, including the heavy Tawakalna Armoured Division, the elite of the elite, which was practically destroyed by the 2nd Armoured Cavalry Regiment. There's an excellent description of this engagement in Tom Clancy's Armoured Cav.

I can provide more details on the fighting, and which units were engaged where and when, but I'd prefer if you gave me some sources for some of your information.
