An annual exercise. At the end of the season we will declare the winner(s) and what the grand prize will be.

I'm predicting 85 wins.

I selected 80-84, if I had to pick a number, 84 (based on a 162 game season) .519

Starting pitchers (5): Hyun Jin Ryu, T.J. Zeuch, Steven Matz, Tanner Roark, Ross Stripling

There's going to either have tor be some astonishing career bests here by the pitching staff or they are just going to overwhelm their opponents with offence if they want to be successful.

I'll say things break slightly their way and they win 88-89 games.

90-72 I think they'll get starting pitching for catching prospects. Gurriel or Grichuk might go, if an elite pitcher is acquired,

Jays will be good this year. Too bad we can't see them at the Rogers Centre this year.

I'm not as buoyant on the Jays this year as the rest of you, it seems. Neglecting the pitching will be their undoing.

Am I allowed to lower my prediction?

I picked 75-79. This is not a good baseball team. Horrible plate discipline. Last night, umpire had a tight strike zone and Angels didnt swing at borderline pitches. Jays swing at everything still.

Extra inning game - Angels claw 2 runs. We send 3 guys to the plate and they all swing like they want a 500 foot homer...KKK

Springer may prove to be a distraction this year (being booed on the road). And the team is snake bit for injuries.

20 games left. Even if they finish 10-10 they'll still be around 90 wins

They start slow, they get hot, cold in August, white hot in September (so far). It's a roller coaster ride that they're taking us on.

I am happy to admit that my prediction of 70-74 wins was way off. Did not see the pitching accomplishing what it has this season. Apologies in particular to Robbie Ray, I bashed that guy and he's put up Cy Young worthy stats.

Mandriller, Dartman, roadhog, McNasty and onomatopoeia all called it accurately with 91 wins
