No, you can incriminate yourself. Thats the whole right to remain silent,.. thow you can also be charged for NOT reporting it,. hrmmm,.. decisions decisions,...
I am not a lawyer. However, how I read the Act is that you can't be charged and convicted by saying that you were looking and negotiating for sex when you would be reporting to LE a theft from these leaches when you were communicating for the sex and telling them why they stole your money.

Constable, the driver behind me was going 150 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. I know this because I had to accelerate and get out of his way on the one-lane road inorder to avoid him from rear-ending me, until I could get off the road safely.

Then again, some one above suggested Crimestppers, anonymously. That is probably the best way to get rid of these leaches!

Not sure about when you are reporting it. The officer did not actually witness you doing the communication.
If you were called to testify in court you could then invoke protection under the Criminal Code. i.e. I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me. You can invoke a certain section and then your testimony cannot be used against you.

I, like the complete dipshit that I am fell for this. Lesson learned I suppose. This girl got away with more than 100 from me unfortunatly. Wish I noticed this thread before I made the call. Was lookin for somptin diferent close to home to try out and I got burned. Will prolly end up filing a police report on this agency. In the very least I'll write OTW and let them know it's a scam. I know for fact that they will pull the add. This "agency" is a very well oiled scam machine. I'm usually not this gullable but fuck did I ever get grifted but good. Basically I handed over cash for her to get a room and poof, gone like a puff of smoke. Doubt I'll ever get the cash back so please, if this stops even one other poor dumbass like myself from callin them I suppose it's not a total waste. I've had rather good luck in the hobby scene and this is my first serious disapointment. Wish there was a way to scam these bastards back. Ah well,.. :) live and learn.

LoL dumbass. you must have been stretched at the skin. Thats like asking an alcoholi to hold a bottle of booze for you -- and its open. Oh well lesson learned. Don't think too much with Mr. Happy. There is always a bad experience.

that is how I think it works under the protection provided by the Canada Act. Except if you are comitting perjury, then you are NOT protected.

I used to drive around downtown TO and there was an SP that used to get cars to stop by hitchhiking. She was black, hard body, but not all there mentally in my opinion. She would ask for a ride and then while rubbing you ask you to partake for any sum she could get you to, then while taking care of business she would pull your clothes away from your body in feigned passion but be rifling your pockets in the meantime. Luckily I protected all my personal possessions in better hiding spots than my pockets (usually the trunk, just in case) and she never got more than I was willing to spend anyways, and the third and fourth times I picked her up I got ludicrously cheap thrills that only cost me 5 bucks, plus a small noticable wad of canadian tire money, lifted from my pants pocket. No she didn't remember people from one visit to the next.

I think that it one did call the number and set up a second appointment, a camera that took the contacts picture might be a fun way of scaring them off and if posted would prevent more members from being similarly taken, at least by the same girl.

Or just annoy them for a few months by calling, from different phones, and setting up appointments, then simply not showing up. No show is a terrible thing to do to a reputable SP, but this agency has earned the burn. Change your voice, get a friend to call a couple times. Do it 6 or 7 times and you'll have gotten your money back. Yes, in a childish way, but serves them right.

I would not go to the motel or confront the girl though. Do you really want to risk a violent confrontation, or have your licence plate written down and be marked for a later visit by her pimp? No, just jerk them around a bit.

Called Crime Stoppers,.. done,. Called OTW,.. done,. annoying phone calls? Nah, too busy. Plus I'm not really crying over this. Basically I just paid for a very expensive life lesson. No worries. As far as some pimp goes,.. lol,.. well, anytime people on this site talk about scarry parts of town and weirdo's basically I fit the bill pretty good. It's not who I am at all but I defineatly look the part. Semi-native looking, long hair, tattoo'd heavy set muscled construction worker. The fact that I have a brain in my head that still operates at a somewhat rational level suprises some people. Don't get me wrong, I don't dress or act like a skeeze, but I'm usually the one who is intimidating, Not the other way around. <-- I've also noticed that I punctuate rather perfusely and spell terribly. Anyway, pimps? bring em on :) Been there done that.

Me Too Stupid

Well, misery loves company. Same thing happened to me on Sat but I got bilked for $150. This is first time in 15 year that this has happened to me. I just was in a rush and didn't think. When I called back to agency I was told they would send another girl in about 20 minutes. An hour and half later stupid me realizes there a lots better and cheaper ways to spend Sat afternoon. I usually only go to agencies/people I know or have good feeling for but I let my guard down. Live and learn, and think with the big head from now on!

burned

Years ago I got burned for 150 on a similar scam thinking with my little head. When my big head finally took over, I couldn't believe how incredibly stupid I was to fall for such an obvious ruse. If I could have kicked myself in the ass, I would have done so. Hard!

But I picked myself up and turned the tables around. I have spent wisely and judiciously at reputable places to pursue my proclivity towards this hobby, with all it's various permutations, such that the 150 bucks amounts to less than one quarter of one percent of my total spending in this arena. Pretty cheap overall for a life lesson, if I do say so myself.

So, take that you scammers! I win in the end.

My only fleeting thought on the perpetrators of this crime is that I hope they bought some bad drugs with my money and developed "Crack Lung".

One can only hope, I suppose.

Cheers,
Jack

I think we could scam them out of their time if everyone sets up an appointment and does not show up. Better still just drive by and stare at them.

Looks like this girl is up to her same ole' crap. SHe actually called my cell phone while I was at work. I played dumb for the mostpart and found out where she is "working" out of this time. If you call someone from the paper for any of the above scams or to an apartment on montrave, you have been warned.

I investigated the issue and there is fishyness going on with this industry. I set up an appointment and went to the location and the girl in question was actually walking the streets in front of the hotel. Not good. I aborted immediately.
