Actually, I kinda liked the G8, oh well.

April 24 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Corp., facing the threat of a bankruptcy filing if it can’t meet a June 1 U.S. deadline, will preserve the GMC truck line and drop its 83-year- old Pontiac brand as part of a government-led recalibration of its business plan, people familiar with the decision said.

That's why they're buying up Digital company's like xxx (not gonna mention cause I work in that field)

They just bought a major supplier of Technical equipment and supplies, a couple years back.
I work with Chemicals and Lasers, all day (Ya Ya Fuck Off)
and now we have to deal with these Kodak assholes.

Pontiac during the 60's and early 70's was a muscle provider for over testosteroned north american kids who could not afford mopar.

General motors was set up in divisions in the early 50's entry level was Chevrolet

A step up was Pontiac

Up once again and you were into Buick and Oldsmobile

When you hit Cadillac you new and every one around you new you had made it.

GMC was a truck and utility vehicle maker.

When G.M. had 50% of the North American market they tried very hard to provide cradle to grave service for everyone of every financial state.

Things changed in the 70'2 and 80's when the bean counters took over , every division in GM produced the same vehicals on different lines all over North America, dozens of versions of the same car in different trim packages, made sense from an assembly line cost point of view but it took the soul out of the company.
