I met/had a call with a man (we wont use gentlemen) who while I was getting out of the car drove off with my e n t i r e purse on top of smashing my head on the open car door on take off. From cellphone, to passport to everything inbetween on top of my own stupidity an entire 2weeks wages.
For what its worth, I have his name, cell, email, ip address, handle and first half of lisc until further investigation.
I will personally out myself to get this resolved. Enough is enough.
Sorry to hear. Thats terrible!
Unfortunate reality is even with a cell phone, if it's pay-go hard to prove who he is, a car can be borrowed and email can be hacked, handles on review boards can have multiple people with the password.
Often someone who does what you have experienced is either really, really stupid OR has covered his tracks making it nearly impossible to prove.
You'd have a better sense of accuracy, but from personal experience- sometimes a situation like this is to actually out you and obtain your info. Which if he does have that info, ensure you do follow through with the investigation, and hope charges are laid.
If he has your info, and you are prepared to "out" yourself, get a restraining order to ensure there isn't further reprisal and repercussions if anything should happen .
Hopefully you are able to find out who he is to ensure you are able to protect yourself.
Change your work name, phone number and pictures to ensure he and/or others do not have access to you, possibly putting you in more danger.
