The article says that they have no fear of the Canadian justice system because we focus more on deportation than prosecution. They get deported, create fake passports and then come back for more. That has GOT to change! This is upsetting to see.
These people come from Third World shitholes where criminal activity results in stays in hardcore prisons (not like the vacation homes called prisons in Canada), have their hands chopped off for stealing, have their heads chopped off by cartel opps, the death penalty, and so on.
We have no means of prosecuting these people in any meaningful way.
Traditional ways of dealing with criminals:
1. Rehabilitation - not an option in this case
2. Years behind bars including life - too expensive; might work if forced to do hard labour during their tenure
3. Death penalty - ideal if done swiftly; low cost and no future crimes committed by the dead guy. We could just drop them off in the Artic with no clothes.
4. Deportation - only works if their home country accepts and prosecutes them; not an option in these cases
5. Mutilation, humiliation in the public square - beat them, chop off hands, legs, and genitals. The offender will spend the rest of life pissing through a tube and eating through a straw; this option is better than what we have at present.
