I googled it, it seems 'garnish his/her wages' is the most common way to say it.

Having said that, I also seem to remember that garnishee used to be used in past. Who knows? Maybe the Matrix cat altered the program recently.

This goes on more than you think also in Canada. Most women with fake reports that have a man instantly arrested without question, without proper procedure go free, (male guilty until proven innocent) lots of time, anxiety and money. Example Samantha/Alessandra did what this Irish girl did - charges dropped but nothing happened to her. True story
