If he used a professional escort agency... he might have been a lot better off.
He would have been recognized and gotten extras for sure.
However there's the odd one that would have told their story to the press or blackmailed him.
The pros aren't all discreet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
There are plenty of guys who are probably jealous of Tiger and his exploits.
There are plenty of women who wish they were on his list of conquests.
The only place he won't be excused is at home with his family. And deservedly so. Unfortunately for him, that's the most important place.
I can't figure out how he thought he wouldn't eventually be caught. It's not like he's able to just go about his business unnoticed or unrecognized. I'm surprised there hasn't been a blackmail attempt by at least one of these women before this.

I suspect you're correct. He'll do his round of contrition on Dr. Phil, Letterman, et al, and carry the penitent banner for us until another mega-celeb screws up, gets caught with their pants down or worse.
Seen through the prism of celeb obsessed culture it almost seems to be a rite of passage.
Yet on the surface he seemed least likely to succumb to such temptations because of his upbringing, his late father's grounding influence, most of all the self-discipline he has exhibited in making himself a golfer without peer.
Maybe you can only wind yourself so tight and climb so high before, subconsciously, you're looking for a way to let go and unravel. Who knows? The shrinks and sages will have a field day, maybe a field year with this one.

I'm a huge golf fan, play 3 times a week in the summer, and watch all the tourneys on t.v even if Tiger isn't playing. I have huge respect for Tiger on the golf course, not so much anymore off the course...having said that..
It's funny to see people writing in other threads, about how Tiger doesn't compare to Gretzky or Jordan anymore, because of these ladies he's been banging. Every star athlete/entertainer out there has been banging just as much pussy as Tiger has. Jordan had women in every city, and had mistresses for years. Gretzky has this squeeky clean image, but he had more sex than John Holmes! I know of a close friend's sister who he banged.

yeah...totally agree with you. for every pro athlete i'd say about 5-10% have been loyal to their wives. tell you this much...i wouldn't b surprised that within that 5-10% they've probably had some who have gotten bjs and lie to themselves and dont consider it cheating because apparently this is the new grey area in our society.

Kobe's been with more women during his marriage than you can imagine. All these high powered athletes have. I know several athletes in various sports and believe me when I say it's a small world in the athletic's circle.
Like most athletes, they want to project a wholesome image. Why? Because it means more money.
Tiger, especially, has been marketed to be wholesome and family oriented. And, it has definitely worked out for him and his sponsors!

I learned a long time ago that no woman was worth a lie. Pursuing such a course (lying) just brings yourself and other men into disrepute. Women just love to call us all bastards, jerks or whatever because they catch many of us in lies, primarily relating to sex. I refused to live a double life; I have told my significant other what I do and if she can't handle it then perhaps a different man is in order. Perhaps one who lies ( many of the self-righteous types are just like Tiger). How many out there would fall to this type of fate if "caught." My suggestion is for all of us to be true to ourselves, be honest and live a clean (no lies, no deception) life. Why is that so difficult?
