But I'm very rarely on that side of town on Thursday or Friday. Went by last night and oh, do I regret it.

Started with a woman ... I think she said her name was Moxie.... tall, thin blonde. Dances were blah. Okay. Nothing special. Got 4 dances, but it could have been 5. I asked how many. "That was 9. So $180." Oh, I was F'n pissed. I gave her $100 and said she wasn't getting a penny more. (as if I could find a penny) She let it go.

Next I saw a woman who gave me two different names. "Sara" and "Charlotte". First 4 dances were fire. Really enjoying myself. She asked if I wanted to keep going. I said "here is $200; cut me off when we hit 10 dances". Immediately, the quality of the dances dropped. Might as well have been air dances. I started initiating more touching. "Oh, if you want to touch me there you have to pay extra". Reluctantly gave an extra $40. And then "Stop. The manager is looking.", "Can't do that... too many girls in other booths are watching".

Saw an Indian woman.... had 2 boring dances. Said "Thank you for the dances and pulled out $40." She says "Stay another song..... I'll make it fun." So I did. Boring as the first two.

Spent 2 hours and $500.Should bought an NFT. Still be out the money, but I'd have the 2 hours back.

One thing I've noticed about the cost of a visit...

At least for me: whatever money I bring to the club I end up spending.

Bring $80, spend $80.
Bring $180, spend $180.

Once I dropped by around 4:30pm and there were so few girls and so many guys that I ended up just watching a few stage dances over 40 minutes and then left.
That only cost me for the beer.

Every other time I've spent whatever I had.
Because there's always some other woman that looks intriguing.

And also because the experiences are kind of a tease.
They may be fun.
But I haven't found them to be completely satisfying.
So I always want more.
And thus end up spending whatever I have.

And that seems to be part of the experience.
It's a place to burn some money for fun.

Life is short -- you're not taking this money with you, so might as well have some fun with it along the way.

I know this is the main part of the business, but I've been to many clubs in the past where you can just grab a beer, enjoy the scenery, and go back to work. The last few times I went here, I get approached by multiple ladies, which is fine and understandable, but then the manager or bartender will come around and ask if I'm "okay." I'm usually in a collared shirt and slacks so I'm not dressed like a dirtball, but I get the feeling I'm about to be thrown out on the next floor sweep. So I just finish my drink quickly and get out. Should I always expect to drop cash on 3 dances minimum when I walk in there? Or am I seen as a cheapskate, pain in the ass, customer when I don't?

I've never had anything like that happen, that's just weird. The impression I always had is the clubs make most of their money off alcohol sales, so if you're just going in for a drink or two and then heading out, I don't see where it would be that big a deal to management. On the other hand, if you're hogging a table for hours, nursing drinks and not getting dances, that would be something else entirely.

You do not have to take a girl to the back. But be honest with them when they sit down with you, or when you realize that you won't be taking them back. Personally I tell them, that are welcome to sit with me if they want, but won't be taking them back.

Agree on both counts.

I've never had any issues in this regard at the 'Mate afternoons. Yes, the server will ask if you are "ok", especially if you've been nursing a drink for a while but I've never felt any pressure to buy another. Typically, I'll only have one (or at most two) drinks during an afternoon from say 1:00 to 3:30 or 4:00. Rarely, I'll not visit the CR and there does not seem to be any sense that I'm "about to be thrown out".

Seems that 'pressure' (or a request) to buy a drink for a dancer is highly dependent on the lady in question. I do not recall Delicious ever asking for a drink but on the other hand Vegas usually does.

That's my experience as well. I always went to the PM to see a specific lady but if others came by to chat would be happy to buy them a drink if the discussion was fun, no pressure for myself or them

Dropped in to the 'Mate this Wednesday afternoon (10/18) and found things a bit quiet (but occasionally seeming busy - the number of patrons fluctuated a lot between 1:30 and 3:45).

Noticed Ashley, Phoenix, Moxie, Miami, Domino, and Bianca as well as a few ebony ladies who were not familiar to me. While I was chatting with Delicious, the DJ wanted her to go on stage so I waited for her while she took her turns under the red LEDs. It was nice to see D. on the stage. Our CR sojourn was interrupted by an emergency call to Delicious' cell and we abbreviated our session so she could deal with the issue.

Ruby was in attendance today but did not spend much time in the club while I was there. Ruby emerged from the CR about the time I arrived, went to speak with a gent and then disappeared to change for a trip 'upstairs'. After an hour or so, she reentered the club, immediately noticed someone who wanted to speak with her and then she ascended the staircase again. By the time Ruby was back out on the floor wearing her dancer outfit I'd almost forgotten that I'd seen her earlier. A fairly popular girl today. Many of the dancers seemed to be doing well this afternoon - regular traffic to the CR during my visit.

While waiting for Delicious, I noted Bianca spending a lot of time chatting with someone and could not help overhearing her tell him that she "just turned X [years old]". Having seen Bianca at Barb's in the early part of this century (i.e. 20 or more years ago), some easy mental arithmetic left me wondering if I had misheard her stated age - or perhaps we are all entitled to a bit of approximation regarding the number of our rotations around the sun.
