i think because she was the only attractive one there at the time and I had not read this... personally but if you dont read these it's easy to fall for things.Yes, that is her. She has a very established pattern of doing what you experienced. It’s amazing that she still is supported by clients. She is the only one I know of, who is an Ottawa regular, that has so many reports of doing this sort of thing.

Stopped by the 'Mate this Wednesday (1/31) afternoon at about 1:15. Turned out to be a very quiet and slow pm at PM. Not many dancers and sometimes even fewer patrons. Seemed to be a new daytime DJ.
Noticed Domino, Moxie, Lola, Phoenix and Mia. There was another dancer (tall, long dark straight hair) unknown to me. She left not long after I arrived and returned later with another dark-haired lady, but I guess I didn't stay long enough to see them back on the floor.
For those who are commenting on "dancers not approaching", I would say that this was not an issue today at the Playmate, particularly regarding Moxie. She approached and approached and approached and yet again did so. I tried to be polite but it was getting to be a bit too much. Suppose the lack of patrons made her a bit aggressive, but she did have one very long CR session while I was there (given Moxie's reputation, I had to wonder what that ended up costing or at least what she aimed for).
Mia looked really terrific on stage and ended up being quite busy (or at least not so often on the floor) this afternoon. Despite my patience, I was unable to connect with her except very briefly at around 3:30 or so, but she was returning to the table of someone she had been sitting with and told me she was leaving about 4:00, so things did not work out for me with Mia today. In any case, I've been stood up by girls not nearly as pretty and well-built as Mia. Hope to return soon in search of an encounter with Mia.

In to the 'Mate again on this Tuesday afternoon (2/6) and the feel of the club was considerably different than my previous visit on Wednesday of last week (1/31). Arriving a bit after 1:00 (as usual for me) there were a good number of patrons and after a short while it was obvious that there were many more dancers than the five I saw last Wednesday.
Noticed Domino, Moxie, Lola, Ruby, Phoenix, Bianca, Delicious, Mia and several other dancers unknown to me.The unknown (by name) included an ebony dancer with glasses (another ebony lady came into the club at about 1:45 or so), the tall dark-haired dancer with long straight hair I think I saw last visit, a short dark-haired dancer, a very curvy lady who wore a backwards baseball cap on stage and an Asian dancer I don't think I've seen at the PM before. May have forgotten one or two, so there were at least a dozen or so (probably 14 or 15) girls at 175 early this afternoon. There was regular traffic to the CR from 1:00 to 2:45 while I was in.
Ruby was very eye-catching on the floor as were Delicious (wearing her usual one-piece thong) and Mia. Speaking of 'eye-catching', not long after my arrival Vegas emerged wearing a bright orange high-cut one-piece bodysuit. Vegas caught my eye and came over to my table - had a nice time with one of the prettiest and most beautifully built dancers at the PM. As always, it was great to see Vegas at the 'Mate - incidentally she told me that her evening appearances at the club in January were not typical or indicative of a change for her and she will most likely continue to be there on occasional afternooons.
Overall a really good afternoon at the PM with three (Delicious, Mia and Vegas) of my fave 'Mate regulars in attendance.

My review of my first ottawa club
Alright, I originally planed to go to 77 but I got lazy and just went to playmate. Big mistake. This place is tiny with only a few dancers.
Anyways I had a dance with this french canadian/middle eastern girl - thick body, not best facially but was a pretty good dance to start. Well after that I keep looking for a good looking girl, I barely saw any, so I decide on this girl that look decent on the stage. She is this shorter woman who looks maybe in her 30s. Well we start the dance and she alrady smells like smoke and she looks skanky - maybe the alchohol fooled me initally. The first dance was ok, then comes the second dance, she puts her coochie right near my face and the scent of a 1,000 rotting fish attacks my nose; at this point im dogging it like Mike tyson and I grab her trying to keep her down, I'm fighting for my life, this is the worse smell ever. That was disgusting.
After recovering I have my eye on this girl cut tall white girl but she gets taken by this dude who looks like a somali pirate, so I im like, ok no problem I'm sure this will be quick. Well after 25 minutes, she is still dancing for this pirate. So I find this other girl, great dancer - I cant remember her name but she has like streaks on her hair and lots and lots of punk rock/heavy metal type tatoos.Session was ok, I get done and that girl I was waiting for is still dancing for this somali priate dude - he must of found a lot of treasures and become wealthy because she was there forever. She was this cute kind of tall whtie girl, cant' remmber if she was brunette or blonde but she was popular. So I decide to have a dance with girl called angel, pretty cute. This session was the most ridiculous session ever. She literally spent 90 percent of the dance just doing nothing and talking on my lap, I was not sure if she was doing this on purpose or if she is just like this. I mean I was just laughing at this point, she just wouldn't stop talking
Anyways I would never go to this club again, too many mediocre girls if im being blunt, im not spending my hard on money on this

An unfortunate first visit to one of the venues comprising what is left of the local SC scene.
The 'Mate can be very dull and slow on occasion and any number of the dancers will be, how to put it, not everyone's cup of tea.
On upcoming visits, I'll attempt to keep one eye out for the pirates and other marine life.

Champagne room almost full and still dancers walking around and chatting with customers.
A lot of faces that I don't know yet. Just guessing but at least ten women.

Darn. Just lets a while ago. Waited an hour for her and kept missing her.
Yes Angel is pretty cute but she is a zero mileage dancer if that is what you look for. She talks a lot and does nothing. I first met her at Pigales 6 or 7 years ago. The good thing about her is that she has never overcharged me.
I was there today too to see Moxie as unshaven slim cuties are my favorite. She wasn't there today. Also my other favorite, Mia left at 2 pm soon after my arrival. I did get a hug from her though after her stage dance. Ruby was there too and after a brief hug went to the CR and stayed there. I think there was also a new dancer named Xena. She was one of the three girls on stage during my brief visit. Cute brunette with small body who was sitting with a guy at the back for the 45 minutes I was there (distant) so she was not my type. Also taked with Domino but I left early to beat rush hour traffic. The high point of this brief visit was that I saw an old friend there I had not seen for a long long time. He is one of the (best in my view) reviewers here. It looks like I am getting back into the habit of visiting strip bars. My second visit this year!!!.

I may come back there at some point as she is my type. Hopefully good in the champagne room.
A rare second visit in the space of one week for me as I arrived at the 'Mate this Friday (2/9) afternoon around 1:10 after having been in to the club earlier in the week.
The scene today was not quite as busy as Tuesday but there were a fair number of patrons and dancers, perhaps as many (a few more?) girls as on Tuesday. Saw Domino, Ashley, Ruby, Delicious, Bianca, Mia, Lola, Xena, Phoenix, Eva and a few others. Did not see Moxie or Angel. In addition to Eva, there were two other ebonies in today - not known to me by name. Also unknown to me was a tallish dancer, moderately inked who appeared to be wearing a blonde bob wig. So I guess there were in fact almost as many dancers as on Tuesday as I can think of at least two other ladies in the 'unknown-to-me' category - counting about 15 there. (Maybe 1 or 2 more than Tuesday, not sure.)
The atmosphere grew somewhat more subdued aboout 3:00ish as a number of patrons seemed to depart around that time.

I admit I was there this afternoon as well ... I had an unexpected and honest time in the back with a African girl, who went by Vannessa. Honestly she's not a striking beauty but came across as sincear and honest. she was friendly in the back, and most of all she was honest, I even counted one dance high and she corrected me. ( I'll admit that is a large part of the reason I'm sharing ) honesty should be rewarded ... as always YMMV... but for me she started with some light kissing on the lips and was very open in her disccussions... and what she allowed was very generous, without upsale or saying that something I was doing would cost more. I didn't ask to go up stairs but was very tempted.
Sometimes it's just not possible to get a quiet moment alone with Ruby...
