WOW, How is whether the CKC recognises the breed relevant to whether the breed should be banned??Sasha Jones said:Even the CKC who does not even recognize pit bulls as an authentic purebread breed?
Sasha, you posted a very long story that was to explain how the banning pit bull’s is not effective in reducing dog attacks, however, the reason the bans did not work in your posted story is that the bans were found to be unconstitutional in some areas of the USA, and could not be enforced. How does this relate to whether the bans would be effective in reducing the total number of serious dog attacks in Canada. Please explain as your logic escapes me. Especially when in other jurisdictions in Canada, where the ban was put in place, they have realised a significant reduction in the number of total serious dog attacks.
Relating the ban on pit bulls to crimes reported/committed by black people is simply irrelevant and a bit nasty.
With pit bulls there are clear stats that show that pit bulls are responsible for the bulk of the serious attacks on people, yet it is obvious by looking around that they make up a small percentage of the dog population by breed. Have you bothered to look at and analyse the stats Sasha??
