Pimps vs. Agents

I was reading a thread on the incall review forum about an agent or pimp or someone who escorts the men to the girls and takes the money, thus providing extra security to the girl. It is different but worse than an agent? Then I got to thinking, what exactly is the difference between a pimp and an agent anyway? Most guys here is perfectly OK going through an agent, but I mean really... aren't they just glorified pimps?

pimp: recruits girls through emotional vulnerabilities, screws her, says he loves her, hooks her on drugs, slaps her around, takes most of her money.

agent: recruits girls who want to do the work through published ads, does not screw her, teaches her the business, photographs her, develops her persona, creates her web site, develops her brand and marketing strategy, writes her publicity releases, advises on client interactions, teaches her advanced sexual and psychological techniques, drives her to outcalls, arranges incalls, mentors her by providing intellectual and emotional support, takes less than half of her money. Takes less of her money as time goes on and she becomes more independent, finally helping her to leave the business and launch her own ventures in the regular economy.

Pimps are scum, agents have nothing to be ashamed of.

I pay my agent an agreed upon percentage based on their work for me. This percentage is generally regulated my the market - similar to any other 'agent".

A pimp... well, little diffrence from a slave owner I would guess.

PIMP is a term to make ALL people who help out SP's look bad!

Not all pimps are mean, unfair, etc. A pimp can be somebody the lady loves and trust and even lookout herself for them.

Sure some pimps are SOB's-just like some agents do not treat their ladies fair and wrongfully fire them. I seen 1 company that even goes around bad mouthing and spreading false rumors that the lady steals and to stay away from her-just because she decided to work as a Indy. Then when the girl came back to work for them, they post it was "just a misunderstanding". By that time other SP's PM me telling me their bad story's with that company.

I knew some "pimps", the ladies called them her "man". They seem cool, looked out for me, helped me out if some jerk tried giving me some trouble. The lady-as far as I could tell-did not have to hand over all her money. They shared what each other had, almost like a married couple.

Don't forget too, some ladies DO steal, do not treat others fair, etc. It can be a two way street sometimes, lol.

Agents are the people who inheirit women that have already been through a few pimp experiences and survived well enough (for the time being) to move up to agents.

I mentioned in another thread that my "agent" is more like my EA. We met for an interview, found some commonalities and agreed upon a set fee for their services.
They do my administrative work freeing me up to focus on what I feel are the more important aspects of my job, client service.

I also work another job and have always had an assistant to relieve administrative burden in that job as well. I focus on the client deliverables and they manage my calandar, billing and presentations.
My agent Jillian and her staff are paid a fee to manage my calendar, answer all incoming inquiries in regards to my services, and to manage the marketing plan which includes the website, advertising, and to execute new initiatives as they arise.
The only difference between my EA and my Agent is the product we offer. Is my EA a pimp, no she answers to me and a few other people on the team. The same is true for my Agent, she answers to me and the others on the team.

Again, blow me, who the hell made YOU the thread police?

Just to point out just how STUPID you truly are: I wasn't comparing women to cars, I was comparing the names of cars to each other...DOH I'd hand you a clue but it would be a waste of time........

Just stating my experience and personal opinion on the matter. Each person has different experiences and will enter this type of situation with different objectives.
I know your view of the agency I work is very different from mine and I'm sure that you have your reasons for this. We all reach our POV through our personal experiences and that's just how I have come to my conclusions. :)

In Barrie you need a liscense to ____

Also we pay the city a fee every year to be liscensed for an agency plus ongoing liscensing fees .. so does that mean the city is our pimp ?

A pimp is to an agent like a street walker is to an escort.
