What's the hourly rate these days for dances? Do you get any sort of discount if you take the girl for an hour? I assume it might be a bit different here and there but I assume there must be a Pigale guideline. Planning on going in a few weeks. Thanks in advance.

Haven't ever had an hour long visit....I'd probably see a SP or MA if I wanted a such a dedicated session. I used to recall a sign up downstairs noting an hourly rate but I have never had a dancer follow that...

Let's math: An hour is 60 min. Each song is about 3.5 minutes. Equates to 17ish songs...let's round to 18. 20 dollars a song...makes that about $360 per hour...

IMHO...I would use that amount to spread the wealth around to multiple ladies...and tipping the nice waitress well.

If you want the hour experience...I guess it would be best to just chat with the lady you have in mind and negotiate?

Good luck and let us know how it goes! Interested minds would like to know. :)

Cheers!
E

I've never been at a club which had a set hourly rate. Perhaps a dancer will have one but I believe it's a YMMV per dancer thing.

Bare Fax used to have a sign on the stairs up to the CR that listed rates for dances, duos and half hours. Don't know if it is still there.
Was there (Pigales) on Friday....just forgot to take note.
I really don't think the girls follow that sign anyhow...lol.

Best time to play at pigale is at 1230/330 unfortunately after like e26889 said it is deadsville
Absolutely agree.

Unfortunate for me...it was when work finally let out. Sometimes some dancers will stay during that time period. Which I would think would be like shooting fish in a barrel since there is little competition and men sitting around for dancers to come up.

That dead zone period is long though. I'd say from 4.30 to almost 8pm? Wished there would be at least two dancers on the floor...

The fallout of the pandemic has hit large amounts of businesses and unfortunately the strip clubs are included, I really worry about how much longer these clubs can survive
I think the clubs were in trouble long before the pandemic. I think "back in the day" they were owned by people wanting to make money. (and maybe launder some) Now I'm not sure. When I was younger people used to go to the club for a fun night out. A group of guys drinking, partying and having a good time listening to upbeat/fun/loud music that riled people up. We'd drink a ton and throw money on stage and get table dances right there with the waitress available to you. At some point the industry changed and the music switched to laid back hip hop or whatever and it's now become more of a sit back and wait until the right girl comes by for lap dances. So the bars make less money because people nurse one beer and head to the VIP. I go to the clubs a few times times a year in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal and sit back and watch what happens. Groups of guys come in sit back have a beer go downstairs for a few dances and leave. The solo regulars nurse a single beer for a looong time and maybe go for 1 or 2 dances. There are the odd couples or pair of friends and they stay for a bit but not all night. Customers in two's are bad because if one goes for a dance the other is left alone and that's awkward. The strip club doesn't seem to be an all nighter thing anymore , it seems to be something you do before going out or after you strike out at the normal bars.

The strip club model has been breaking down for a long time. Barbarella's for example was perfectly placed to get the convention crowd, people in town for a few days looking to have some fun. Those were the people I used to see when I was a regular there many years ago, big groups of guys spending a lot of money on booze and dances. That became less acceptable over time, to the point where it wasn't sustainable even before the pandemic. The Barefax barely made it work until the pandemic destroyed the downtown market. There's still not enough people for them to bother opening during the day.

For potential new strippers, a lot of them can make a living doing OnlyFans and not having to let drunk older men grope them. Others who can live with that can go work at one of the spas instead. That doesn't leave much for the clubs.

At the end of the day, there's not enough good strippers to draw the guys and not enough guys spending money to make it worthwhile for the owners.

for a male customer, strip clubs have become an extremely poor return on investment.
you simply get very little fun for your money.
drinks are way too expensive.
stage shows have become - dare i say it - boring - with a very long break in-between dancers.
as a result, customers will nurse their drink - because it takes so long to actually see a (fully) naked woman.
if your drink does not come in a bottle, then it has been watered-down significantly.
champagne room dances are also quite expensive - and the songs that are played are trimmed to 3 minutes-ish so basically you are paying 20 bucks per 3 minutes.
the dancers want more money, so they take their sweet time removing clothing, and at 20.00/3minutes that gets expensive really fast.
i had many, many great times in strip clubs over the years - and it used to be one of my favorite ways to indulge in my greatest passion - attractive women.
now this has just become an assembly-line cash grab - get as much money as you can while doing as little as possible to get it - industry.
something has to change in order to revive this once-awesome indulgence.
