Honestly the first time I heard PP speak whenO stool was in office I had a very bad feeling about him in fact I wrote about him before he thought retook political theatrics to this level. Actually, no. PeePee will shave 2 or 3% off the Tory vote. They'll win in AB and SK and some rural districts in ON. And they'll fail to crack the Mtl-Ottawa corridor, the EGH and the Lower Mainland even more totally and catastrophically than O' Toole did. People in urban Canada would have voted for O'T on a personal basis - but they KNEW that his own party would betray him and undermine him. PeePee is the natural leader of the modern CPC. That's why Toronto and the other urban centres won't vote Tory.

Justin could fuck a pig at Yonge and Bloor at high noon and Toronto would still vote Liberal. Montreal, Vancouver and every urban riding in Ontario as well. And the Maritimes. You guys make PeePee your leader and the Liberals get a majority.

I'm not PP supporter, but he's rallying the kind of support that Trudeau got back in 2015.

I don't think Harper was necessarily doing a bad job before Trudeau won, but people wanted change and I'll argue Trudeau did make a big difference for low-income Canadians with the child care benefit (game-changer for my friend). Think the same thing is happening now; people want change.

So, like I said, unless the country is doing very well by the next election and people are fully affected by Trudeau's new agenda (eg $10 a day child care ), I don't see Trudeau standing a chance against PP.--Trudeau's brand power is finished outside of his base.

Otherwise , PP would need to really shoot himself in the foot to make himself lose.
