that's it for the strip clubs.
They can't operate with 10 including the staff and dancers.
In the article I linked to (post #18) it suggests:

CTV News Toronto has been told the new restrictions will not apply to businesses

Therefore if this is how it works out (wait and see of course) then restaurants, gyms, strip clubs and other businesses would be operating under the same rules/regulations they have right now.

Yeah I saw your CA reply - I didn't know changes aren't applicable to business' though one has to wonder, if the intent is to limit transmission spread, why would business' not be subject.

I've been a germo-phobe since SARS and H1N1, and have had four bottles of Purell in each of my cars since 2002. However an infectious disease is not something that can be "denied". Government reactions taking away basic freedoms and liberty, destruction of economies and racking up massive debt, media driven hysteria and saturation reporting without context, should be of grave concern to all.
Are you also against prohibiting drunk or high people from operating motor vehicles? The laws are to protect everyone from Darwin Award candidates and winners.

I agree with you...let's see what the next few days bring...could be announced this week, could be the return to the 'Monday announcement for the following Friday, by region' we saw Doug give in the summer.

Continuation of spread so second wave lock downs are justified.
And who benefits from that? Nooobody.

Typically illogical post, just for the sake of being a contrarian.

The fuck does this even mean?
Who benefits from further restrictions? Everyone that interacts with other human beings benefit - it's quite literally the opposite of nobody.

Maybe you're one of the anti-maskers in which case, there's a group of infected people with no masks that want to speak to you in person. Up close.

Because the rules involving covid have been dumb and conflicting at all times. The joke is on those trying to follow said rules religiously.

I feel like this is just theater. Moving into Stage 3 was going to bring another uptick in cases. It's what happened just about everywhere else, so why Ontario thought it wasn't going to happen is beyond me.

More to the point: since the government does not release data concerning the actual incidence rate of confirmed cases in various entities (I.e., what percentage of new cases came from bars, what percentage came from grocery stores, what percentage came from delivery services, etc.), I'd like to know how, indisputably and incontrovertibly, the Ontario government knows that "backyard parties" and "reckless young people" are driving up cases. I mean, I've lost count of how many times I see fast food workers, other service workers and just other people in general not wearing their masks properly. Once, one lady even prepared my sandwich with her mask on her chin!

Shouldn't we look into that and see how many cases are coming from mask slackers? I bet it's higher than we realize.

Oh, and deaths and hospitalizations are nowhere near the levels they were at their peaks. So I still wonder how severe the situation really is.

The real kicker? 54% of Ontario's known new cases have "no epidemiological link". Considering we don't test everyone, can we really point any fingers at this stage?

Last thing they want to do is start shutting businesses down again IMO but there will be changes. Let’s all follow the rules and be safe.
I went nuts last week, 5 MP visits. This week I’m taking it a little easy, only went to Cambridge. Trying to stay away from Toronto and area for a bit now that the numbers are so high. 401 cases in Ontario today. Stupid.

Thats why schools reopened.

Continuation of spread so second wave lock downs are justified.
I thought we had to do it because the economy was more important than lives.

You do a great job of being consistent with your nonsense and conspiracy theories.

Who's going to admit it? It's just like when someone gets a toy stuck up their ass but tell the doc they slipped and fell on it.

Opposition parties said Ontario is losing more ground daily in fighting the pandemic despite knowing cases were likely to surge in September.

“It should never have come to this,” said NDP Leader Andrea Horwath. “Now, again, the province is chasing a crisis instead of getting out in front of it. We can’t wait.”

Ford promised a plan to deal with the rising number of cases will be unveiled next week.

“Instead of building up our testing system for this inevitable upswing, the premier spent the summer on a campaign tour patting himself on the back,” said Green Leader Mike Schreiner. “Ford’s second-wave plan will be useless if the horse has already left the barn.”

I'd start by inspecting these workplaces first. The amount of mask slacking that goes on there tells me the workers don't get inspected enough, since they would have better compliance if they actually feared inspection. Maybe you would not get an "exact" number but you at least get enough observation to make some inferences.
