Your email is your account ID. Don't feel bad - it is confusing to a lot of us. If you have a business type account there is a tab marked Merchant Tools in the top right of the page. Click on it and you will find a wizard to build "Buy now" buttons and stuff.

You may want to check the Paypal TOS (terms of service) because I think I remember Paypal limiting its exposure to the adult industry due to the high fraud count.

Don't have anything to do with Paypal. They are very susceptible to phishing messages. I had an account years ago and stopped using it long ago. I still get messages asking for my info and messages saying that the account has been suspended to an e-mail that was never associated with it.

Also, their TOS excludes all adult biz.

There are other services suchas Hyperwallet . . But cash is king.

I've experienced a few minor losses due to fraud when accepting Paypal for eBay sales but overall it's been very reliable and useful for me. However, all prospective Paypal users should be aware that some people have experienced major problems:

You may have to beware some spaming emails saying you need to update your paypal's information. They will take you to a website looks identical to Paypal site but with different domain name. I think when you try to login, they will store your password and have some fun with it. Very scary

I have used it for SP's especially when I knew they were reputable and they seem to truly respect my trust. It also was nice on visiting to have the gratuity already settled ahead of time.

If you are using it for a sex payment account then make sure you set up another account also and transfer money from your business account immediately to the other one. That one should be set to our bank account and you can then transfer money there......it takes about 4 days.

To set up to one of you bank accounts, which should be your 2nd account they will want verification account is accurate. Once you register, they send two small amounts ...like .07 and .04 to your account. When you see it, you must then enter it to finalize your registration with Paypal.

Yes, there will be phishing...spam to your email account but not from PAYPAL....but made to look like PAYPAL....so do not respond. Only do any information changes in your paypal account directly.

I have used it for eBay purchases and sales. They charge a small fee of $3.00 or something but minimal for the convenience. I do think too if you verify yourself you can also pick up a debit card to with draw money at ATM from your paypal.

It is nice though to quickly send money throughout the world and I have recently just sent some to someone in London, England.

Terms of service in Pay Pal are very clear and basically want nothing to do with adult service industry. There are creative ways around it and grey areas but takes one asshole as you can see from above thread and you’re frozen. So grab the payments out as fast as you can. If frozen close out linked bank accounts. There are other services other then Pay pal lots of them but fees are high, and a main problem once again you find with these adult payment services is clients can charge back and most will not fight for you at all. So be prepared to eat on average 15% to 20% of the gross coming back. A lot of them make you maintain balances in their accounts to cover charge backs. There is another option, but takes some investment on your part. USA bank with merchant adult account and you can carry insurance like any regular merchant account to cover fraud and charge backs. Getting a Canadian bank to give you Merchant account for adult related business is very tough. Requires an R1 credit rating, registered business with tax return records usually min three yrs and escrow money. Hate to admit USA because I am so pro Canadian better and much easier.

On web site design issue we do it all along. Examples Flash, custom d bases, scripts, software. With development support and admin services. Have references and full portfolios and have done a lot work with the type site your looking for. We have our own servers and offer a lot hosting packages right through to a dedicated server. Hopefully your huge success in new venturers and when you are hosting is next issue.

Paying by Interact via the net maybe the best way. In the end the customer does not give up any personal info and neither does the person getting the payment All you need is the SP's e mail address and the on-line bank takes care of the rest. This of course would require a leap of faith on the customer as I'm sure it would be tough getting funds back if the SP turned out to not provide any service. Also I guess since your dealing with a bank the payments now become traceable as income (income taxes)

You can send them to *any* email address, and all you need to do is make sure the recipient can answer a question that is posed to authorize the transfer. Just make sure you and your client agree ahead of time on the answer to the question (case sensitive).

This doesn`t require accounts of any kind, except an e-mail which I`m guessing your EC, xxx, and TERB based clients already have

I`ve used this method with 2 SPs. Neither had heard about it before and they just loved it! Beware however that this shows up in your account and if SO sees, ``you got some shplaning to do!

it`s been a while since I used this but if I remember right, the recipient does require a bank account for the money to be transferred to ...... but it is a great way to transfer money to an individual if it`s a time sensitive issue

You can't blame Paypal for the fact people fake messages from them as Phishing attempts. People do the same from banks, the IRS, whatever -- PayPal's an "effective" fake-source because a lot of people have (or had) Paypal account. Those "Please update your information" messages don't happen because you once had an account - they happen because someone out there who wants your money got your email address off a list.

Now, that's not to say that Paypal doesn't have other problems, to be fair.

Careful with PAY PAL not only do they exclude adult matireal but the can freaze your account Make sure you never leave more then you are willing to lose and limit them from having acces to you CC bank acount etc. Your account can even go into the negatives if some one complans and demands a refund. be ready to walk away from the account at any time . I personaly got F=+ked by PAy Pal even with a non adult sale.
