Over the years, I've dealt with clients (including regulars) that have pulled a no-show or cancelation and instead of paying my fee, they decide to ghost me or cut communication.
This is an unfortunate part of the profession, especially the no-show which is utterly disrespectful.

When this happens, I keep track and even if I delete our conversation, it all reappears once you text me again.
I am also very good at remembering faces.

Lately, I have encountered quite a bit of sneaky behaviour from multiple ex-clients...
There are four types:

1 - The client who waits a year or so hoping you will forget about their bad behaviour and/or the owed fee

2 - The client who uses a text app to attempt a booking and when I say I require a true number for booking, they agree and their true number ends up revealing that I blacklisted them when their old conversations with me appear

3 - The client who attempts to book via email or social media, and as above, I still require a true phone number and they reveal themselves

4 - The client who has a new true phone number, gets past the screening and shows up hoping you will forget or not remember

So onto the PSA portion...
CLIENTS, DON'T DO THIS! Especially the 4th type because it puts in person pressure on the provider!

If you did not appreciate or respect your provider enough to pay their cancelation fee or at the very least tell them you cannot make the appointment and reschedule, then you made your bed and if you regret it later, too bad so sad.
Being sneaky and trying to trick the provider into booking you under false pretenses is absolutely NOT OK.

If you are truly sorry, contact them, be honest about who you are and what you did, and offer to pay the fee before asking them to give you another chance if they choose to.
That doesn't mean offering to pay the fee in person (fool me once, you know the saying), that means via Etransfer, PayPal, gift card, or whatever method they require. They may even require you prepay your second chance booking.

Please respect your SW, we are worth it!

Agreed. Ghosting sucks on both sides. I've been ghosted by providers a few times now.
Did you lose income as a result, though? 🤔 (Cue the pitchfork holders speaking on the evils of deposits).

Sorry to hear this, Caterina. It’s one thing to not fulfill an obligation especially where there’s a pre-existing relationship, but then to play devious games to get around is is sketchy as hell. It’s a very selfish thing to feel your time and money is so much more important than the provider’s.

Man up boys. Last minute things happen, it sucks for you too, but do the right thing.

The repeated cancelling within 30 minutes of the appointment - I can’t anymore. I promised myself for 2026 I won’t let it slide anymore
Good for you Penny!

It's always nice to see other providers setting boundaries that work for them and improve their general well-being and mental health.

Our boundaries are in place for a reason and clients shouldn't be trying to weasel their way around them.

I would assume hfagt1000 that any time anyone cancels or doesn't show on a Lady, the Lady looses money. Even if there was a deposit, they lets say have an hour that was booked is empty and usually can not be filled last minute. But then it is actually longer time frame as what I would assume be a built in buffer time between clients so that lost revenue might be even larger, then add in a what some of the touring Ladies have mentioned that they had multiple no shows, now you start talking about some serious money. Even with the so called dreaded "deposit" if there is a no show the Lady still looses money. Only the Ladies would be able to tell you the number of no shows, last minute cancellations while touring or even in the their home locations. Everyone's time is worth money.....most of us are pretty good about it.....some of us are okay with deposits some of us are not.....it is what is best for you. There are Ladies who ask for deposits and those who do not.....so lots of options for both sides. Clubs like a registration for members for a few different reasons but if you no show to bookings after a while you might get banned from the Club. Because the Club and the Lady both lose money.
HB69.....was here?!?!?!?! I apologize was not suppose to be rant just a tiny bit of education for everyone......and I don't even know much!

This is always the way I ultimately lose long term clients. They stop respecting my time and book without showing up one too many times.

It sucks because I know that one or two people have actual car troubles, got called into work or someone died but more often than not its just an excuse. Its worse when there is no explanation.

Ive only ever had 2 people pay my fee and one person just sent money with an apology but had moved on into a relationship and no longer wished to see me but they felt bad about it.

Some people are habitual liars and can't show up to their own appointments and everyone has to pay for it. Workers lose money, clients cant book that time. Honestly, the hard part about this job is definitely the clerical work.

80% of what I do is clerical work and getting ready for an appointment or physically getting to an appointment. Its such a piss off when people waste my time.

I didnt have a no show today but...I dont know if this is worse. Someone tried to tell me what I was going to do for them, how much they were going to pay me (less than my rate) and they wanted to pay me after everything is said and done. I should have blocked them but I was in a good mood that they subsequently ruined and the conversation went on longer than it should.

Conveniently enough for them, I reached a breaking point and blocked them and they suddenly coughed up a deposit I have to try and send back.

I dont know whats worse, not showing up or being so cheap and annoying that they suck all of the joy out of the appointment by being cheap, demanding and difficult so that I dont even want to go to the appointment in the first place 🙄 I'd almost prefer that some people no show lol

It is rare, but some clients actually do try to make up for past no-shows or cancelations.

About ten months ago, a really good regular did not show up for his appointment and didn't respond to any of my texts.
I was shocked because of how nice, polite and respectful he was in person; I did not expect him of all people to no-show.
I started to worry that something terrible had happened to him.

Fast forward to last week and I receive a text from him that doesn't acknowledge what he did ten months ago at all.
It was a HEY LONG TIME NO SEE type of text.
So I explained to him that not only did I waste hours getting ready for him and lose income, I felt disrespected, disposable and dehumanized like I wasn't worthy of at least an apology.
He said that he had not realized the impact of his actions and that he'd forgotten about our appointment and ignored me out of shame.
He paid my past fee and asked if I would see him again. I agreed to with a deposit and our appointment went well.
