I was convicted with my first speeding ticket last september (got it reduced in court from 20 km to 10 km with no pts). got my renewal last week and was happy to find out my insurance with PC financial has not changed, and my conviction record (serious/major/minor) still shows as zero. Maybe im just lucky, or my insurance company doesn't bother to check since I've always been accident/conviction free?Your insurance company will definitely know, it is standard across the board for companies to pull an abstract prior to renewal. They probably didn't change your rates due to their underwriting rules.
