Fallsview isnt what you'd expect. Its not the cleanest, not the fanciest. Its a typical tourist place. Food wasn't great or anything really good about it, typically buffet fare, basic deserts and salads... Wouldn't recommend it, not sure what i would recommend in Niagara actually... not the falls area at least.
I didn't claim it was the fanciest... I merely said it was much better than Outback and pretty good as far as casual dining goes... I have been to the Keg in the Embassy Suites 4 times in the last year and we have had a great meal and excellent service each time. The restaurant was very clean and one of the nicer Keg's we've been to. Perhaps you just had a bad experience.

Have you tried the beef tenderloins?

Throw a couple of them on the BBQ with a little BBQ sauce (of your choosing), some Montreal or Keg steak spice along with some of those large scallops and a couple butterfly shrimps, some baked potatoes and maybe some grilled veggies...

Delicious!
I prefer the ribeyes but any of the better steaks at Costco are well worth it. I don't condone all the condiments on a great steak but my SO would be on your side.

Regarding Outback, I've always enjoyed the Victoria's Filets there...... always good. The Keg I can live without, only went once and it was one of the worst steaks I ever got anywhere.

There were both Ponderosa and Bonanza steak houses (among others) in the states, neither one worth writing home about but if you're young and need a cheap steak I guess they served a purpose. I don't miss em.

Outback BACON WRAPPED FILLET is one of my favourite steaks! I enjoy it alot more then the steaks I've had at; MOXIES, BATON ROUGE, CANYON CREEK, THE KEG and even a steak I had at 360 (CN TOWER).
