Back when I first started this journey around 2010 there were some great CERB provider sponsored socials where I made some great connections over the years. The last ones I attended were OIC sponsored/fundraising and not sure if they still do that as I no longer have the same interactions.I would love a sex club honestly

The old CERB socials were great for networking and putting faces to names, rather than just relying on blurred faces on LL or other sites. There were a mix of SPs, MAs and even the occasional Dancer, the whole spectrum of SW's. Part of the problem with these was discretion. Some clients didn't want to take a chance on being outed, (same with some SW's) and a couple of the locations where we held them, the staff caught wind and were less than discrete about advertising to outsiders what was going on.
OIC did try and run a few and IMO they became a bit more restrictive and less well attended. Now that is my opinion but after a couple they seemed to drop off. Maybe because some of the SWs felt that it was restricted to only OIC SW's, I am unsure, but they did stop happening.
The other one, that was a bit underground. happened on the "other board" before it went to shit. That site used to have private groups where you could restrict membership and post discussions to those that were interested. That was the Poly social group which was a group of clients and SWs who were into the multi partner scenarios. Whether it was GB's, bukake events, 3-somes, 4-somes, More-somes anything that people were interested in organizing and exploring. We used to have socials in a bar where we hung out, networked, maybe played pool or did Karaoke. Sometimes at those events some people would organize an "after party" where some of the ladies wanted to do a session with a couple of the guys then they would negotiate a price, find a venue and go off and have some fun. But that didn't always happen. More often then not it would be a chance to set up an event in the future.
It was great in another way in that we could "screen" who was participating. There has to be a bit of trust in these kind of events for both the SW's and the clients. I for one don't want to be in a group situation with some other client who is acting like an asshole. So we could plan events to avoid that outcome. And I must say that a lot of the networking allowed me to meet SW's with whom I set up just regular one on one sessions later on. It was great for them because they had essentially had a good idea who the client was and the clients knew a bit about the lady so when we got behind closed doors we weren't strangers.
I think it sort of died out partly because some folks lost interest but also surprisingly that a lot of other SW's started "slut-shaming" the ladies who were members of the group, even if they didn't participate in anything but the socials. There were cheap shots about rates, activities and in some cases just plain jealousy because the girls in the group had made themselves better known to the punters and therefore got more business.
Some of the client also criticized and ostracized some of the ladies as well. Probably the same guys who only want to be the first client of the day. FFS you are seeing an SW, do you think you are the only one? It makes me laugh.
Also because spas like CMJ, now Alpha and Hush are hosting member's parties there is a bit of an opportunity to socialize without having to commit to a session and both the clients and the SWs get to know that they are dealing with.
So if anyone wants to start re-organizing these social meet and greets I would probably attend again. They were fun.

That’s an easy fix if you stop using LL and start using Tryst. Or only see reputable providers reviewed or verified on this board.
OIC is also a good place to find local providers (all providers with OIC are screened and verified) or using your best judgement you can follow providers on Twitter so you can see regular updates and photos there.
You are absolutely correct I've been able to book a few appointments from OIC previously but 250+/HH is a little steep for my budget
But you are right LL is hit or miss

Multiple men for an extended period of time = more work. More work should never equate to a rate as low as what you’re suggesting.
Having a guy there providing cialis or viagra (or any medication) to clients should and would be a huge red flag. And you probably dodged a bullet by not attending that party.
I have tried numerous times to organize a gangbang event in Ottawa and unfortunately it comes down to a few things as to why they haven’t happened.
1. You need at least 5+ clients to actually commit to attending for it to be worthwhile for the provider financially.
2. Not enough clients want to provide a deposit and get cold feet and back out.
3. To host something like this it actually would cost money to rent a larger and more discreet space, plus hire another provider to act as a safety coordinator. To make sure clients are respecting boundaries and not trying to slip off a condom or do anything unsafe.
4. This hasn’t been a reality in Ottawa because clients have continued this narrative that you can get more for less in Montreal. But as you just described above, you get the experience you pay for. So
I’d love to organize a gangbang or orgy party in Ottawa. But client need to understand that this isn’t something you can just throw together last minute and there are overhead costs to the provider who’s hosting these types of events.
For many people this is a bucket list type of experience, not your average 1.5 hr PSE booking, so expect to pay a bucket list type of rate.

180 x 8 is 1400 for an hour fifteen. Not awful for some women who just want the experience checked off. Assuming the woman gets 1200 and house gets 200 plus cialis sales and perhaps viewers only sales. Not too bad. That’s for the woman to choose. If it’s happening every 2-3 weeks in Montreal there prob isn’t a market for it here at 1/5 the population and he probably pulls talent and clients from a wide circle around Montreal at least as far as Ottawa. I found out about it here after all.
As for the other issues you have, it’s for adults. If a man can’t handle buying a cialis and knowing if he shouldn’t take it, the whole thing is not for him.
And the 2nd provider as a safety coordinator? No reason the host can’t do that and besides there’s 8 other people around. Just seems like unnecessary hurdles. But ya if it’s not practical in Ottawa that’s going to prevent it from being Regular occurrence.

I’m not looking to debate. Just wanted to share my experience with these types of events in Ottawa. Sorry if that’s not how it was received or if my comment wasn’t welcome on this thread.
I remember the old CERB socials and had a lot of fun, made great connections with both some of the gents and ladies who attended. Yes, it wasn't too hard for staff at some of the locations to figure out what was going on based on the demographic attending, mostly men in a certain age range and women in a somewhat different age range
I'm a bit sad to learn that a few of the people I met at the socials have passed, and I still miss one particular very intelligent and pretty lady that has been retired for a few years.
