The only thing I'd lied about was my
name. I'd told her I was Teddy Novak...

if I got her pregnant.
Shhh that is my alias.KWI said:Liar, you told me your name was Clark Kent!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuji said:Never. I give a made up name, and if I'm asked details about my life, I make those up too. The less information people have about me the better, why do they need to know?? I don't know anything about their real name or real life (and don't want to either).

So when I'm somewhere with my wife and some SP or stripper or whatever comes up to me and says "Hi Bob", I can say, "Sorry, I'm Joe, I think you have mistaken me for someone else", "But you're an engineer, right?", "No, sorry, I'm not, you've mixed me up with someone else". That way I don't get a divorce. I realize 99% are smart enough not to do that. I am safe from the other 1%.Jasmine Jazz said:i think you worry too much about this. if u tell a lady your name is bob for example how would that be too much info?
Well, actually, when I book incall or outcall, I am doing it from my home phone. I assume for security reasons that agencies and indies have caller ID and so they know not only my first name but my full name. And certainly when I book outcall and the lady arrives at my apartment with the entry code, they have my full name and address. I don't have a cell phone and can't say I understand how easy it is to link a cell number to a name, so I am not sure the same applies to those who book with a cell phone.Jasmine Jazz said:Like if you said "hi im bob, im an engineer, I work in markham, i grew up in Vancouver." that's not quite same as giving a lady your full name and address is it?
Okay, you've probably seen my post above about caller ID, and I see you mostly post in the incall section. Please enlighten me. What makes you think you are visiting an incall anonymously? The other thing I am wondering is what you fear about giving a lady your first name? Persumably you are married, but even so. I agree, there is a lot at risk in terms of personal and professional reputation, marriage, relationship with kids, financial implications, etc. But one of the benefits of using the services of SP boards is that indies and agencies are operating in a somewhat transparent environment. So while I agree that one should be careful, I am not sure I understand how giving an SP a false first name constitutes being careful.fuji said:Never.
