Haircut with the works
Checked out Lynda's new location - mostly to get a badly needed haircut and partly out of curiousity. The place is a little hard to find: you have to head west from Somerset over that little bridge and then it's tucked away just to the right in the weird little butt end of Wellington.
Anyway the new place is much much nicer than the dump they were in before. It really looks like an upscale salon. Very nicely put together.
Lynda isn't shy about plugging the massage end of things, even with other customers sitting around. She told me that she had five girls now and that the rooms were nice so I thought I'd give it a spin.
I took 45 minutes ($50) with Tee (Te? Tay?) a VERY attractive - sweet face and lovely bod - youngish lady with long blonde-streaked hair. I had mixed feelings about the massage. She'd obviously been trained but she was still awkward and the experience wasn't exactly flowing. Still it was pleasant and I could see that if she sticks with it she might do very well. She needs to build up more strength in her hands, she could use a little more coordination and she probably needs to have a number of massages herself to understand how it all works.
Almost no teasing but the finish was pretty good. So it wasn't the best massage I've ever had but I left with a smile on my face. I might see her again after she gets more experience.
Lynda's is much nicer experience (showers, what a concept!) but it's still weird having to walk through the salon.
It's worth going there just for the salon. The best $10 haircut in the city. They even trim yer eyebrows fer cryin out loud.
