Is that why you are on terb?

He is probably here for the same reason most of us are... for the novelty of being with incredible women!

Actually I have been involved with this stuff b4 I met my wife, 1st time at 22...I blame Cuba for giving me the bug, wait a minute when I think about it I've been fantasizing about red women ever since pretty girl came out...damn you Julia, but wait a minute when I think about it I had the hots for bad ass good looking women who take charge and don't take shit from anybody since the teens...yup I've been involved with this stuff a long time, the marriage is kinda of a disguise, although I do love her, and I know she suspects it, but we have content. I don't think I can ever leave this life, even though I have tried it always calls me back, it feels so comforting like chocolate and the last piece to my content.

Just add some pics of yourself and a little write up that doesn't sound creepy, then like a bunch and you'd be surprised what happens next. Funny enough, I know one of the guys that made some internet list of Tinder's creepiest guys. LOL

Alot of these dating websites like POF are using fake profiles. Online dating is being like email, full of junk.

So I've been feeling like I wanna date again, and I got the tinder app. I see there are a lot of women on there, some I would like to meet for sure. Now how good looking does one have to be to connect with women online? I've been told in real life by women that I am not bad looking, and I've been told that I am good looking, and I am not fat or bald. Yet I don't have a gf :frusty: Never had a bad session with an mp, and an mp recommended I try online dating. I just think I look better in real life than in photos. I mean I have dated women almost 20 yrs younger than me so it ain't like I look so old or ugly.
Should I expect to get rejected a lot when I post pics on tinder? Is Pof better for dating? I feel sorta funny posting my face pics online, mainly cause I don't want to get rejected by dozens of women and then I will feel so bad about myself. I also wouldn't want anyone in my working life to recognize me either, feels sorta embarrassed. Wear sunglasses?

Any advice? How was your experience with online dating?
Tinder isn't really for dating, moreso casual sex - consequently, appearance is pretty much the only thing that matters. It's like a buffet for attractive guys and a desert for average guys and below.

If you're not sure whether you're good-looking at this stage in life, you're likely not. Doesn't mean you're a troll, could just be that you're average.

Do you not have friends and family who may be able to hook you up with possible mates? I've always found that the best relationships come from face to face contact first as opposed the "checking the boxes" that seem to occur from online dating.
Done that already. Didn't work. Girl had nothing in common with me.

Online dating is a numbers game and the OP needs to realize he's going to have to go through a lot of rejections (and being rejected and rejecting people himself) before possibly, POSSIBLY finding something interesting.

If your emotional condition can't endure that, I wouldn't recommend going through the process. Find a less exposing process to finding a new relationship.

What are the other options? I'm super busy@work, friends all married with kids and all my family is outside of the country so no "setups". Are I fucked? :)

Speed dating, networking events, singles dances, Meetup.com, volunteering, hobbies, gyms. Not saying that everyone at these events/places (other than speed dating) wants to date someone, but they are ways of getting out and meeting people.

Don't wear sunglasses, you should post a photo of yourself. Speaking from my experience it's really annoying talking to someone without a photo or one where they have hidden their face, you may aswell not have a photo at that point. It even worse when you chat with someone charming and find out they aren't anything like what you are looking for. One guy was fat, bald and in his 50's and was "offended" when I wasn't interested. lol. Always be charming and never forget these are real women and what you say online should always be what you would say to their face. So many people on there treat the women on there like they are free escorts. It's disgusting. I would be willing to look past someone's looks if they were sweet, smart and charming. (The fat 50 year old was neither of those things, he lied about his age and he wasn't very pleasant to talk to, but I figured I'd give him a chance and see who I was talking to... It is never worth it 90% of the time.

Just remember, people never look as good as their pics. I've met a few people that looked terrible in pics and stunning in person... but in general people look great in their photos and they're greasy, awkward slobs in real life. lol
PS: If they have their employment listed as entrepreneur, that usually means they're unemployed, sell sex for money or deal drugs. ;) Goodluck!

*Don't send a dick pic unless she asks for it... never assume she wants one. Everyone sends her dick pics. It gets really annoying and predictable after a while. It's like internet flashing.

LOL about the dick pix! Anyway messaged some woman in durham on tinder and sent her some face pix. She still responds to me, but not so fast as though if she is interested in me. Anyway at least she responded and I don't feel like a total ugly duckling.
