I must say I looked more into Miller performance this year and your right ... I apologize ... He was just okay this year ... Stats were medicore to good ... No allstar performance this year ... You could say your back up ( Miller's back up ) actually got them in the playoffs cause I remember the Sabres went on a run after Miller got hurt ... Funny how his career avg is 2.57 9.15 and this year
was 2.59 9.16 ... Again I maybe guilty of over valueing him ... He is good but really what magic run has he done for the Sabres .

I remember hearing Miller was hurt but then Jhonas Enroth went on too win 4 games in a row and lead Sabres to the playoffs.
Had Miller been superb, the Sabres probably would take down the Flyers in 6 games. Chances are Miller will stay with the Sabres until his contract runs out. That means the Sabres will have to fortify their defense and offense to have a shot at Stanley Cup, with the assumption that Miller will be good, but not great.

Tampa Bay sweep the 'paper tiger' Capitals. Looks like the Bruins are doing the same with the big bad Flyers. LOL!!! (One would think the Bruins learned the lesson from last year and will not let the Flyers win 4 straight to take the series. Can't imagine history will repeat itself that quick. LOL!!!)

Will Washington say goodbye to Bruce Boudreau?

Wow your so emotionally down about being out of the playoffs that your getting out of town as soon as possible to play Hockey ..

People react to adversity in different ways. Some guys will dust off the golf clubs, others will head home with the family, others will participate in a hobby and others will pursue other intersts (like the World Hockey Championships) - All to deal with being eliminated.

I watched some of the Caps games and he is the one guy that you will not be able to label as a "Slacker".

If it was a Canadian athlete doing the same thing I doubt the average fan would even question his loyalty to the NHL team.

Besides, what type of behaviours would you expect of him or any other hockey player once they are eliminated from the play-offs?

Miller is not the world class goalie a lot of people think he is. When he is good, he is very good. When he is average, he is very average unfortunately. One would think Boston has learned its lesson from last year's playoff defeat at the hands of Philadelphia. Look for the Bruins to take down Philly as early as game 6.

The good doc will root for Nashville the underdog. Your Vancouver sisters will not show up until they put more make up on. By then, it may be too late. LOL!!! Nashville win in 7 games.

Detroit is a perennial playoff team but look for the Sharks to take a bite out of the Wings in 6 games.

The Lightening seems to be fully charged at the right time. The defensively improved Capitals will have no answers for the Bolts. Bolts win in 6.
It looks like the Canuck sisters have it right. Less make up and play more hockey push the Predators to the brink of elimination. The Sharks, Bruins, or Lightening will be much tougher opponents than the Predators in future rounds.

this is so true. Ovechkin played his heart out! However, the entire team didn't want to be there...

Ovechkin was not himself this past season. In past seasons he would be on the hi-lite reels every night, this season it was rare to see an OV hi-lite goal.
Boudreau and company should have been more interested in building a strong third line.

Canucks advance to the third round.
Will the sisters ever show up ? If not, forget the Cup Vancouver. The Canucks will not get to the finals without the Sedins.

Nashville ... talk about riding a hot goalie. Pekka Rinne could have stolen the series if only a few more Predators could have found the net.

Go Sharks, end it tonight.
