Boston vs Philadelphia ... The Bruins lack of a top sniper will eventually lead to their demise, but they just have enough to get by Philly. Boston in six.

Washington vs Tampa Bay ... OV and company should not have too much trouble with the Bolts. Caps in six.

Vancouver vs Nashville ... Preds finally win a series. That is enough for a while. Canucks in five.

San Jose vs Detroit ... Shark in the water ! Maybe Joe is finally ready to emerge. Wings had their time. SJ in six.

Vancouver takes game one. Luongo stones Fisher on a breakaway.

I would love to see Shea Weber in a Leaf uniform.

We all would to love to see that and could of but in 2003 The Maple Leafs brass were spectators for most of the first day of the NHL draft and didn't draft till the 57th pic ... Remember MLSE motto “ DRAFT SCHMAFT “
Do all pics work out no but you can't win a lottery if you don't have a ticket ...

God I would love to have the New England Patriots as your home town organization ... 14 wins and 2 losses and in the off season they have 1 first round pic and 3 second round pics ..
Opps I made that mess :) ... Damm I could have drafted Jeff Carter , Zach Parise , Ryan Getzlaf , Ryan Kesler , Mike Richards , Corey Perry , but hey I did draft John Doherty Martin Sagat , Konstantin Volkov

Boston makes it look easy beating Philly 7-3 in game one.
Do the Flyers have another goalie ?
What is it with that organization and goalies ? Over this summer Philadelphia should do everything it can to land a top goalie, maybe go after Miller. I doubt the Sabres will trade him, especially now with this new owner, but you never know.

A fluke goal from behind the net does in Vancouver in game two. Nashville played a lot better in this game.
If Vancouver is going to win this series the sisters have to show up eventually.

Miller is not the world class goalie a lot of people think he is. When he is good, he is very good. When he is average, he is very average unfortunately. One would think Boston has learned its lesson from last year's playoff defeat at the hands of Philadelphia. Look for the Bruins to take down Philly as early as game 6.

The good doc will root for Nashville the underdog. Your Vancouver sisters will not show up until they put more make up on. By then, it may be too late. LOL!!! Nashville win in 7 games.

Detroit is a perennial playoff team but look for the Sharks to take a bite out of the Wings in 6 games.

The Lightening seems to be fully charged at the right time. The defensively improved Capitals will have no answers for the Bolts. Bolts win in 6.

Thomas was hot tonight. Made some incredible saves.
Boston goes up 2-0, I seriously doubt they will make the same mistakes as last year.

If the Flyers would have picked up a true number one goalie they might be leading this series 2-0.

Can you say that about every goalie ? When you follow a team on a everyday basis like you do with the Sabres, you are more often more critical of a player who you follow cause you see him all of the time and unlike other people who only see your team in high lights or occasinal games . Home fans are often worst critics for a players cause they are never as bad as you think they are and never as great cause decisions are based on emotions and not objective observation .

Although trust me you can often take those players for granted and when they are gone you can better appreciate them ... Fans were critical of Sudin like you see Miller but now that he has left we understand how hard it is to get a number 1 centre who can consistently get you a point per game output ...
The fact that Miller is not nominated for Vezina Trophy is damning evidence he is not good enough this year. Not objective? Not even by observers across NHL? Case closed. Bear in mind, the good doc's assessment of Miller is a response to Ironhead's idea that Miller is a top goalie to help Philly's playoff life. He is neither top nor bottom this year but somewhere in between.

I think he is good. Any goalie can go hot and cold, but I have noticed one night Miller can be the MAN and the next a sieve.
Anyway, I believe Miller is better then what the Flyers have now.

Home work ... My posts show I did home work .... I actually looked up the NHL 2003 Draft to see what happened the year Webber was drafted and formed my post ... What home work did you do ? write homework , detective homework ...

When you say Miller is better then what Flyers have now did you look up how Miller's stats compare to Bouche ? Game 7 it seems Flyers goalie outplayed Sabres goalie ... When you say Flyers should get Miller did you do your homework to see that Flyers are at the salary cap limit and if they get Miller or a top flight goalie ( who usually will demand 5 million dollars ) then they would have to take away 5 million dollars away from the current roster ... In todays NHL with Salary Cap limits you can't be strong in every aspect of the game ... The Bruins are strong at goaltending but some say they are offensively challenged ... There number 1 centre had only 62 points and David Krejci ...

When a goalie plays like a sieve, he is definitely not good. Period. Even with the inconsistent Miller in net, the Flyers will fare no better. It is their fault spending all money in offense and defense and cannot afford a top goalie.
