Nonsense, the online archives are not that complete. Besides, as I said, there were very few coloured cops not so long ago, a fact that would make all the data irrelevant anyway.

Coloured cops have been around since 1990's. Internet news has been around roughly since the year 2000, that gives you almost 14 years of news articles to choose from. Fail!!

Well, what would you rather have, 6 months in jail (served on weekends) and get to keep your job?? Or a couple of weeks in jail and lose your job and career with it??

how about they serve four years (full time) as requested by the prosecutor and they lose their job

most people who get convicted lose their job as well as go to jail. including some of the people who these cops convicted and perjured themselves

^^^^ I agree red, they got off easy. But the point nottyboi made was that white cops never get arrested or convicted. Its just not true.

You could argue they get way too lenient sentences though, thats a much better argument

he is upset by the injustice he see, and there is plenty to be upset about.

i think when someone in a position of trust, breaks the law, the consequences should be higher not lower. anyways- i have no beef with you

No joke. It is the core idea explored by Heinleinn in the book and somewhat covered in the movie, a fictional future in which only those who served in the military can vote, and criminals are punished more harshly the higher their rank, up to the death penalty for even minor crimes by the highest leaders while the hoi polloi are punished leniently for the same offense.
