You have to admit Biden based on his history is far from the progressive left. The same can easily be said of Kamala Harris. It's obvious they are center left to the dismay of the young progressive left among the party.
Biden has said, unequivocally, NO to defunding the police. He actually called for increased funding for the police. He called protesters who vandalize criminals. As VP his economy was as good as trumps pre pandemic. (Roughly same GDP growth, bigger decline in unemployment, more jobs created per month-old 215k, vs 185k Trump). Things continued to rise under trump but just look at the data - there is no change, no bump, in any trend line after trump took over. The problem is fox news etc was calling 2.4% GDP growth 'pathetic ' when Obama was president, and they called 2.5% growth "roaring" when trump was president. GDP growth was better under all presidents since WWII so this "record breaking" is just bullshit (except stock prices, but again, they were on the smooth rate rise from obama).
Thus this fear that Biden will not know how to run an economy is flat out false. In fact Obama saved it when he took over, saved the us auto industry too. .
They aren't running in this election, Biden is. he is moderate by any definition other than the false narrative your fearless leader is trying to advance. Neither Bernie or AOC are on the ballot.
Yes this I agree to..........Harris is a chameleon though and I'm not so sure she can be trusted. The lengths she went to attack Biden in the debates showed that.
Also the progressives have made it clear that as soon as Biden gets in the gloves are coming off and they are going to challenge him. The Democrats are going to implode at some time.
Then there is Biden's mental fitness to consider. They're trying to avoid and deflect the issue as best as they can but it's definitely there.
I won't deny Kamala is a shark and I also won't deny Biden isn't the Biden of 10 years ago but Trump isn't any better. Both are over the hill and neither if we are going to be honest should be running for the POTUS.
So lets see if he states this unequivocally during the debates. Let's see if he deals with critical race theory, unauthorized tearing down of statues, protests extending past curfews, charging violent protesters, Covid response going forward, Medicare for all, the green new deal, illegal immigration.
