We're coming down to the wire with only 3 weeks left in negotiations to save the NHL season. If a deal isn't reached by mid-January the season will be cancelled, but if it's reached before then there'll be a shortened 48 game season.

What do you think will happen?

I think the media, who keep saying they are tired of reporting it, will continue to report on it.

What we on TERB think will happen means nothing unless we have inside info. What we hope will happen would be of more interest.

I will watch if they settled and got a 48 game season in just because I love hockey.
I have gone to and will go to a few more OHL games and I will likely go to several OJHL(Tier 2 Jr) games, maybe even a Marlie game or two.

I am very morbidly curious to see what happens in the next few weeks, because I find the likelihood of the two selfish idiotic sides coming to a deal to be impossible, yet I find the apparent willingness of both sides to cancel another season in 9 years incomprehensible.

i think the rest of the season will get canned shortly, the two sides are miles apart, & personally Just like me Toronto Should Rock Out During the Lockout and throw their support behind the NLL & Toronto Rock .as well as other hockey OHL and AHL

can't wait for the Marlies ACC boxing day game, i guess after today my next trip back to the acc is january 19th

I still do not care to hear what they are up to.
Just let me know when it is over.

Listening to Kypreos last night I expected to hear about the Juniors and Spengler Cup. Not going over 'talks' with the NHL players and owners with PK.
Yeah I listened to that too. Very disappointing results for the juniors but watching the Spengler was great , just amazing hockey and a great result for Canada. I have also enjoyed watching more junior hockey (for everybody in Ont who thinks Canada ends at the Quebec border watch out for the Halifax Mooseheads top team in the CHL right now). On the other hand I cant wait for the NHL to restart and watching my Habs kick ass! Sorry Kathleen I heard you are a Leafs fan better luck next year.

It doesn't bode well for getting a deal done when one side tries to sneak something in a counter proposal under the radar...TRUST?!......yeah right
I remember a few years ago when both sides apparently opened the books...someone piped up that the only thing difference between a $4 mm profit and a $4mm loss was a good accountant.
Neither side has enough trust in the other to save a season..fuck' em both...shut it down..!!!
Bring back the PHANTOMS!!!!!!
