This is gonna be great - both teams are well deserved, TBL imho have had a harder route to get here but I feel TBL will win it - would like to see CA win though.
The Leafs not touching any of those trophies drives me nuts.
The Leafs are the only team so far to beat Tampa in Tampa this playoffs.
I think this is shaping up to be a great SC final. I see it going at least 6, likely 7 games.
Goaltending is a clear edge to TB.
Defense is very close and I might actually give the slight edge to Col here. Makar is playing out of his mind. Toews needs to up his game a bit he's been a bit sloppy at times.
Forwards I give an edge to Col, even without Kadri. The key for the Avs will be able to contain the physicality of the Paul/Colton line.
Special teams I think is pretty even. In the regular season Avs had the advantage on PP while TB had advantage on PK.
Intangibles: TB. They've won it twice in a row and know what it takes to win. Col hasn't been to a final in 21 years.
Prediction: My heart says the Avalanche (and that's who I'm cheering for) but I think I have to give edge to the Lightning. Its the advantage in the net that is the clear difference maker.

In the Western final we got to see arguably the 2 best forwards (MacKinnon and McDavid) go against each other. In the Eastern final we got to see arguably the 2 best goalies (Shesterkin and Vasilevsky) battle. And in the Cup final, we will see arguably the 2 best defensemen (Makar and Hedman) square off. Should be fun.
I predict AVS in 7, just because for Tampa it's hard to win the cup 3X and they have Corey Perry.
The Lightnings got beaten badly 7:0. in game 2. Let’s see if Jon Cooper is still smoking a cigar while boasting winning the Cup 3x. He looks like a conceited SOB boasting and blowing smoke with the cigar. Avalanche has proven to be a better and faster team

Not over yet. The cup isn't won on game 2. Tampa is capable of winning games 3 and 4 at home.
