Rocker doesn't like your man Matthews either. Mocks him for his Lady Byng. Nathan MacKinnon or Ryan O'Reilly anyone?
Goes so far as to not like his fashion sense for crying out loud.
I suppose Rocker wants him to dress like a 75 year old with his waistband up to his chest.
Jiffy was referring to Matthew Tkachuk, not TML's Matthews. If you weren't so intent on posting insults as quick as your pudgy little 12 year old fingers will type them, you might have realized that.

I was going to point that out too but I know you can't teach "88" intelligence or civility. His only "talent" is blowing hot air.
Looks like he was 'busted' again for being too quick at the lip! LMAO!

Tough guy Blake Coleman scores with an assist from tough guy Pat Maroon. Wouldn't they look good in a Leaf uniform?

Congrats to the Lightnings. They had skills for the longest time but are definitely a much more physical team this year.

Amazing that Pat Maroon (Tampa signed him for $900,000 as an UFA) is on a Stanley Cup winner for the second consecutive year.

Impressive Cup run by the Lightning. They were clearly the better team in every series they played.

Hedman MVP. He was injured last year and didn't play in the playoffs. That more than anything was the difference.

Congrats to the Tampa Bay Lightning 2020 COVID CUP Champions. Congrats to former Leafs Luke Scheen, Curtis McElhinney and Carter Verhaeghe.

Nice to see Hedman win the Smythe. Kind of wondering how it wasn't preceded by the Norris, but I guess the writers saw something in Josi's season. Wonder how many voters are second guessing their vote this morning?

Lightning win Stanley Cup, defeat Stars in Game 6 of Final
Shut out Dallas for first championship since 2004
https://www.nhl.com/news/tampa-bay-lightning-dallas-stars-game-6-recap/c-319086198
"The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup by defeating the Dallas Stars 2-0 in Game 6 of the Final at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Monday.

The Lightning previously won the Cup in 2004.

"It's the best moment of our hockey lives," Tampa Bay defenseman Victor Hedman said. "So many emotions. It's going to take months for it to sink in, but we're going to be champions forever, we're going to be on that Cup forever. … It's what you imagine all your life..."

Hedman wins Conn Smythe Trophy, Lightning defenseman scored 10 goals
Helped Tampa Bay win Stanley Cup, third to have that many in playoffs
https://www.nhl.com/news/lightning-victor-hedman-wins-conn-smythe-trophy/c-319221558
"Victor Hedman won the Conn Smythe Trophy voted as the most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Monday.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman was named after they won the Stanley Cup with a 2-0 win against the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Final at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

"I never in my dreams thought I would win the Stanley Cup," Hedman said. "It's a dream. It's so unrealistic. It's what you dream of when you play on the streets back home when you grow up. It's what you imagine all the time..."

Bettman proud of NHL's accomplishments with Stanley Cup, hub cities
Commissioner says players, League 'did what we set out to do' in face of pandemic
https://www.nhl.com/news/commission...ts-with-stanley-cup/c-319227908?tid=277548856
"After awarding the Stanley Cup to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman went to Studio 99, the restaurant at Rogers Place in Edmonton where he had eaten many meals since arriving in the bubble almost three weeks ago.

The Commissioner was going to grab a bite with Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly and head to his hotel room to pack. The Stanley Cup Final had ended with a 2-0 win for the Lightning against the Dallas Stars in Game 6. The work had not, with the 2020 NHL Draft on Oct. 6-7 and the 2020-21 season to plan.

But first, he took a few minutes to put it all in perspective. The NHL had two main goals when returning to play after pausing the season March 12 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus: keeping everyone safe and awarding the Stanley Cup with integrity.

"We did what we set out to do," Commissioner Bettman said..."

Congrats TBL.....

The lightening were full value for the victory.

Nice to see that they had one of the top records during the regular season as well. Nothing cheap or shortened season aided here.

I wonder if the Rays can duplicate the same feat? Never thought of Tampa as a sports town before, lol

Then there's Brady and the Bucs..........
