Seven years after politicians signed the Paris agreement, it's interesting that UN Secretary General António Guterres says the report shows "a litany of broken climate promises" and "a file of shame cataloging the empty pledges that put us firmly on track towards an unlivable world."
That doesn't sound good. I guess it's safe to conclude the Paris agreement was a total failure.
It's often said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That's something the UN might consider after more than 30 years of global warming gabfests.
