"New Posts" sorting erratic?

I have been using "New Posts" for a long time to access threads here.

Lately, I find that new posts don't appear or register on that sort consistently... for example, the Blue Jays thread, or the Car for $25-30k thread... sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

Anyone else having a similar issue? Mods, has that been reported before?

Same problem

I have click on the Mark Forums Read near the bottom of the main page before I log out ... it helps unless you get logged off unintentionally which seems to happen often.

Yup, posts that I have already previously read still shows up as unread.

I had it more last week. Right now the Lounge seems to be the worst.

And a lot of times when you click on "first unread post" it will take you back almost a week.

I experienced the problem with a review I posted on Hailey Rae last Saturday. It shows up in Toronto Escorts (Incall) and the Allegra forums but at no time, from the time I posted until now, did it ever show in the queue of New Posts. I asked Mod42 to check and he or she couldn't figure it out. Said maybe a software problem.

The 'de-bolding' of already read posts in the Forums has also become very erratic. If you use Thread tools to Mark all Posts as Read, you'll get old-style good results the next couple of times you check that Forum, but after awhile it 'forgets' and it presents as if you'd never read any of them. I assume the same software mechanism is used to sort the posts that are 'new' to you for the New Posts list.
