I thought the same, and then I thought that Bond should be played by an actor who is just shy of 6' tall, so they can blend in a crowd and are not physically imposing like Henry would be. Then I rembered that Bond is not real.

For real. Henry Cavill will be an amazing James Bond. This guy doesn't look the part imo.

The recasting of Bond reminds me of the recasting of the Equalizer from a old white guy Edward Woodward who had a hint of menace when called for and was still very cool, to Denzel Washington who made the character big screen awesome. Sadly Queen Latifa just does not cut it as the equalizer.

Its always a bummer when they take a male character and have a female actor play it, just for equality or whatever. They need to write roles specifically for female action heroes, instead of the bare minimum derivative BS, to make a quick buck lol.

Nope some special women can pull off the role of being a super badass like Sigourney Weaver (god the times I held her poster...sorry wandered) and others like an obese Queen just can't. Is like not everyone actor can be Bond, big shoes to fill. Good casting followed by very good writing makes all the difference.

I'm not surprised, Aaron Taylor Johnson has more talent than Henry Cavill. He was a great teenaged John Lennon in Nowhere Boy. Then spoofed Tom Hardy perfectly in Christopher Nolan's Tenet...right down to the "ridin on a horse" walk.

Anya Taylor Joy has the bigger challenge, she's in a Mad Max film without Mad Max. I'm reserving judgement on the fate of Furiosa. Tom Burke is in Furiosa, he would have made a great Bond.

I dont know. I saw Ghostbusters the female version, Oceans 11, the female version and a few others. None of it was good lol.

Wasn’t there a female 007 in the most recent bond film? I fell asleep with them pushing the notion that Bond could quite possibly be a female by the name of Jane Bond

Yeah the female 007 sucked giant donkey balls - her outfit and pants were really bad and she had a giant chip on her shoulder about who was using the code 007. "So am I still 007?" or something like that - pretty much the crappest 007 movie of recent years. Im a big James Bond fan and really didnt like that movie.

Also not a fan of the new guy - only time will tell - will have to see the new movie to see. Thing is when I look back I dont like any of the older actors either - but I remember liking the movies when I didnt know any different. Pretty sure once you go Daniel Craig you dont go back. Meanwhile Mission Impossible gets better and better.
