Hi there, so I'm in the middle of of opening an in call agency and was wondering what are some things that I need to know. Anything that's not really important but is a need to know type of thing or mandatory stuff. Anything would be great! The more advice I can get the better! Thank you!

You want advice on how to run a good agency for the client or how to run a successful agency like a proper a business?????

Sorry but the clarification is needed. Anyone can get a few good looking girls stock some clean towels and use some hotels. Place some ads and take some pics. THAT is not going to make you a successful business however. There is SO much more administrative work that goes on behind the scenes to actually make an agency truly successful

Femme Fatale is spot on...

I also think you need some test customers. Nice gentleman (like me) who can be relied upon to test your apprentice ladies. Of course, these gents could also be used to help train the ladies in the finer arts of being a courtesan.

I'll look forward to your PM regarding the starting date for my new job!

How can something be "Not really important" but still be "Need to know" or "mandatory"?

Based on your initial post, I don't think you've thought your cunning plan all the way through...

I was going to post something similar but decided not to when it came out a typically sarcastic (for me) post.

Yours was much more polite.

Did you want advice on locale decoration? Service area selection? Provider management/recruitment? Finance management? Reception model? Customer treatment? Marketing models/venues? Photography practices? Legal concerns?...

Not sure what you're expecting

Ok. Off the top of my head. Something that really drew me towards a certain agency (dream makers) is their selection of providers being searchable by service.

If I see that an SP has posted what she is willing to provide, and throw in a (ymmv OR inquire for availability OR to be detemined upon meeting) then I am willing to call in and ask to talk to the girl to work something out.

If the agency says nothing about service or says "call for rates/location" not even giving and approximate area...guess what, I'm not calling in and I'm moving along.

ANOTHER thing.
Some kind of guarantee that the woman in the pictures is the woman the client will receive.

ALSO the small touches.
Different kinds of breath fresheners, warm towel always applied before and after or just after, refreshment of some kind offered before or after...something that sets you apart.

Kind of a tall order. But worked wonders in south america. Videos of the girls.
One agency put up all out xxx videos of their girls...my god it got me so revved I didn't even care that they had the highest rate in the city.
OFCOURSE xx vids is a tall order. But the girl masturbating...dancing around...or even just posing for her photos with a masquerade mask on will work wonders.

Those are general observations. Everything else seems pretty obvious

Don't most agency owners work in the industry to some capacity before deciding to go into business on their own? I'm really no expert on agency stuff as I've always been indy, but the owners I chat with seem to be very knowledgeable about many aspects of the adult entertainment industry in general, not just this segment. Some have worked as providers in the past, others not, but all the ones I've had the pleasure to meet have had some serious industry exposure beforehand. They aren't looking for advice on the basics, they are the ones providing it in many cases.
Touché, Miss Jessica.

I've always wanted to drive a Ferrari or a Lamborghini.

Can anybody give me some good advice on opening an Italian sports-car dealership?

Make sure you promote yourself as being Toronto's premier upscale agency catering to discerning gentlemen and set your rates accordingly.

With the high volume and high rates you are sure to succeed.

If you need to ask these questions you probably shouldn't be opening an agency. If you are a female, I hope that you have worked for one and realize what has worked for you and what has not. Some general internet research should have answered all of your questions.
