I have way too many trust issues with that. The last thing I want is my credit card being attached to a hotel stay.
Many years ago I was young, single, and seeing an older married woman. After a few weeks of the back of the van (she had kids at home and I was only renting a room), she decided that we should rent a hotel room. Which she proceeded to do on the credit card that her husband got the statements for. Much hilarity ensued.
Looking back I'm pretty sure she was looking to get his attention by getting caught (it worked) but it sure made me cautious about leaving paper trails.
