Just curious as to why Terb has turn very negative these days. Seems like a lot of
bickering going on lately! Any idea why, and how we can go back to the good ol'
days, of giving good reviews and praising each other and helping each other out?

You joined a year ago. You don't know from "the good ol' days". Boy did we ever have some flame wars back then.

TERB is downright civil and tame compared to how it used to be.

An example of the negativity I'm talking about. People are quick to say, "You're a
newbie, you don't know what you're talking about, so shut up!"

Not being funny, but I've actually been on Terb for many years. To make a long
story short, I left Terb and started reading that other site GTAcompanions until
it closed down.

My point is that I think it used to be way more negative with many more vicious fights. Even in the politics forum, which is easily the most volatile, the posters in many cases just agree to disagree without getting vicious.

There are so many members now there are bound to be many differing points of view.

In my opinion I think it is only a select few members that ruin it for the rest of us. Newbies come on here, get called a shill or even flammed, then lose interest because who doesn't want appreciation? So with no one sticking around long enough due to the negativity, you get a board with a lots of new comers, and fewer loyal members. It is the bad apples that perpetuate this negativity or overall shitBig difference in senior member respectfully giving a newbie licks, and some senior member abusing their seniority and going on a power trip.

Not to mention alterior motives, or childish board politics.

I mean come on we are here to talk about pussy, who gives a fuck about who to call shill, or even care about what each of us do. I am a grown ass man, we should all be grown ass men.

I am a new member to this site, but I do agree with the original poster.

I have not spent too much time on the boards, but within the chat there has been so much negativity towards me by a very well known SP that is well reviewed.

You would think that people would be nice to each other, and not hide behind their computer screens attacking one another.

Other than pure entertainment, and a false stroke of the ego, what do you people get out of negativity.

The negative ones must be very miserable people if they get satisfaction out of meaness.
