DON'T HAVE CHILDREN! The more you have, the worse off you will be financially.

Also, stay away from the mainstream trappings (coffee, restaurants, gambling, worthless gadgets).
Don't buy expensive cars. They last just as long as cheaper ones.
Stop being a goddamn sheep i,e, stop believing in Musk, Bezos, etc. They don't give a shit about you or your well-being.
Learn how to fix your own stuff and make them last longer.
Stop wasting and stop buying so much shit!
Get a hobby and think about that rather than buying a whole bunch of shit!

If you avoid all of this, you will have plenty of money to live on (for now), plus be able to hobby from time to time. Don't get addicted though!

You can keep your car for a long time even in our climate if you pay a lot of attention to maintenance.
Also, I think the men on this board skew to the higher side on income.
Wage dispersion increased for men in the early 1980s(university degrees started to become much more necessary).
I have documented elsewhere on this board that real incomes for young men and pension coverage were higher 45 years ago(not sure about young men now, but many young men in the 1980s and 1990s never caught up as they got older). When you started working was often just as important as your skills and experience.
