The ratings for most sports are higher this COVID season, not the NBA. People are tired of hearing about this from multi millionaires. Sports is an escape for most people. The NBA is placating to the players. Nobody is watching and no one cares about what they have to say. The ratings are down 20 to 40%

the same justice warriors that were ok with"BITCH ASS WHITE BOY"
If someone called me "bitch ass" on the court, it would become a more physical game. If someone called me "white boy" I'd laugh and agree that I'm a white boy.

Children being killed everyday in the hood by gangsters. Adults mowed down by the hundreds by gangsters in the hood. No protests. No boycotts. No tweets from LeBron James or any of the so-called stars. These guys are disgusting to the max. The hypocrisy reeks worse than a skunk juice. Unreal
Look the other way around. Put yourself in their shoes. If you were born black. What path would you have taken?

Stop killing blacks and stop seeing them as shit holes citizens might give a chance in the long run to see the end of their gangster violence? Do you not think it's the only solution? If not please tell me what is your solution.

Do athletes real think they have any influence on people and how they think or feel?
Yes they think they do, it is their massive egos and being surrounded by yes people their whole lives. Most players are poorly educated also.

I love the NBA and the Raptors! I have been a Raptors fan since 2004. Sadly my gut feeling says there will be no champion crowned in 2020.
Good, we can milk our championship for another year. We the Champs Baby !

IF these multimillion dollar paid ''athletes'' REALLY cared they would go into the hoods where the above murders are taking place and ask their fellow young black males WTF are you doing? Goes to show you only CERTAIN BLM . Black on Black murders dont count. Take away their basketball skills some of these guys could easily be one of them in the hood.

not like their actions means any more. If the NBA and MLB multi- millionaires players really care, go boycott the rest of the season and their salary too. Make it the next season two or three. Im sure they aint gonna suffer.

Society is changing. Standards are changing. Whining about it on a chat board or on social media is not going to help maintain the status quo.

Adapt or get left behind. So said Darwin.

Why? I dont have a solution
The solution is actually very simple.
1) Two parent families
2) Study hard. Study harder.
3) Work hard. Work harder.

and I am not going to put myself in anybody's freaking shoes.
I agree. On one hand the "community" wants police to protect them from all the violence. On the other hand BLM wants to defund the police. It's a total fuckup.

So next time when a cop want to shot a guy in USA it will stop him? Oh, no! Pascal Siakam will leave the bubble if I shot this guy? Pascal Siakam who live in Toronto and got a 130 million contract ( how racist is this) from a Canadian team, will not play for the Raptors and kneeling down under our anthem always? Because in America a black guy who broke the law, got shot in the back? He never stopped playing to show his critique against the Cameroon Government's corruption. Of course not, his parent was a mayor there. Many dead people there from terrorist activity, gang raping, kidnapping etc... but he never raised his voice against it.His all siblings in America now. Why not they stay in Cameroon if USA is a terrible country? Easy here to boycott, in a safe country where you have rights, but not there. Maybe he will really get a shot there, after the first criticism against his own country. What a bitch!

38 votes so far. (I don't vote in my own poll.) This is a really good turnout for the Sports Forum. No surprise there are mixed results as there are differences in opinions.

The Boycott will last about 2 days then back to the court because it's in "THEIR" best interests to do so. It's all about money that's why these guys will continue to play because that's what matters most to them. They showed their hand during the China debacle and what these guys are really about.

The NBA's hypocritical stance on doing business with China in spite of their terrible human rights record leaves them with no credibility whatsoever. So screw the league and their opportunistic entitled players.

Just because it's simple doesn't mean it's not extremely difficult. Ingrained habits like smoking are very hard to break.

It’s hard to believe but I’ve heard that a lot of NBA players live paycheck to paycheck. Not a shock they came back
