these are from thailand, no meat on the outside like scotch eggs, with a tamarind sauce - Son-In-Law Eggs. story goes something like mother-in-laws to be serve them to their son-in-laws to be to remind them that if they fool around on their daughter, their own "eggs" will end up fried!
