these are from thailand, no meat on the outside like scotch eggs, with a tamarind sauce - Son-In-Law Eggs. story goes something like mother-in-laws to be serve them to their son-in-laws to be to remind them that if they fool around on their daughter, their own "eggs" will end up fried!They look like Scotch Eggs. (Scotland) I make pretty good ones but they look a bit different....
really shocked that no one got this quintessential british dessert: SPOTTED DICK!!
