Remember the US military deliberately stayed out of our 2020 elections. If they had backed Trump we would have had much the same story here, except or military has nukes, drones, spy satellites....

Do you think that the military actually cares about this? I think that it was strictly about them getting back the power to run the country. The candidates that they supported in the November election got destroyed. The military claimed massive voter fraud. They ruled the country for years and years and they were slipping into insignificance.
The shine may have worn off internationally but she is wildly popular in her country. Once again, I don't think the military gives a shit about the country's international image.
