So, it occurs to me that I can't be the only fan of metal on this board. Anyone else enjoy the genre? If so, what bands/artists do you like? If not, what genre do you prefer, and what bands/artists?

I love Disturbed from the metal genre, and hope to see them in August just before my birthday
I also enjoy good old rock'n'roll, my favorites being Joan Jett and Pat Benetar.

I love a wide variety of music, but metal was there when I needed it as a 13 year old boy. Black Sabbath's first two albums were played over and over and over back in 1970, they really influenced a lot of bands with their original style.
Metallica and Slayer got me back into it during the metal rebirth in the 80's.

I love metal too, but I'm a fan of many genres though including old country.

I get laughed at for it too hun, they can laugh at us together. I bet your an East Coast girl, just like me. I think the love for old country is in our blood. East Coast girls know how to have fun!

Oh and Motorhead, should have definitely had that on my list.
