Syrian rebels claim to have entered Aleppo | CNN

Syrian armed rebels claim to have entered Aleppo, the first time rebels have entered the country’s second largest city since government forces recaptured the city in 2016.

Rebel forces launched a surprise attack this week, capturing a number of villages and reigniting conflict that had been largely static for years.

“Our forces have begun entering the city of Aleppo,” a statement from the newly formed rebel coalition, the Military Operations Command, said. CNN could not independently verify the claim and has contacted the Syrian government for comment.

May all of them succeed greatly in killing as many enemies as they can! I am sending good vibes to every fighter there on every side.

This is another case like Libya's Gaddafi , Assad is a dictator but the rebel jihadis are just as bad if not worst.

Definitely lots of bad actors in the area. Keep up the good work on showing us all the evil being perpetrated.

Apparently Russia has joined and bombarded the rebels. I guess they don't want to lose the bases they have there.

How many fronts are they fighting on?
Not sure. The say they took Aleppo as you know but don't know what else is happening. Russia can't be too happy of fighting in Ucraine and now Siria.

You're absolutely right. So how should the West respond?
