They judge the treatment will diminish your quality of life and take into account you may leave just as long with the disease until you eventually die.

Being 90 is being 90. My mother still tries to call me each week using the tv remote. Other then that she's fine

Because I have seen the death that COVID has caused, I have a family member I care for who is elderly with health risks, I feel it is better for me so I can get back to somewhat of a regular life, to be able to feel safer having sex again, because I know that the tech behind the vaccines have been worked on since 1990 so I don’t feel it is as experimental as others, because I believe my doctor of over 25 years, because I want to be protected from illness, just like with the flu......

I have more reasons, but I think that is enough. So why am I a sheep?

How can you have any possible info on drug safety when there are NO long term studies done?

Just so you understand what happened here, Trump's Operation Warp Speed was an actually effective policy he had. What it did was allow the streamlining of clinical testing. Usually you do phase 1-3 (I think) trials one after the other. For this vaccine, they did this with much more overlap. Plus, the mRNA vaccines have been tested for a while, so they had a good idea on how it would interact with most people.

As for this BS about a few people getting covid after being vaccinated, the reality is that no vaccine is 100% effective. People still get rubella or the mumps, but it is extremely rare. The major difference here is that since most people are already vaccinated to those diseases, they don't spread.

Here is a good video by Penn & Teller about the benefits of vaccinations. The focus in against those anti-vaxxers over concerns of autism. But, I think it sort of works here:
