it's difficult to win a faceoff when you immediately switch to a stick 4x's heavier too... something the wooden stick proponents never say on tsn and hnic...
It's not like it weigh 10 pounds...I think they like the FLEX from to composite stick as even poor shooters can get some zip using them. I just question if the risk is worth it...21pro said:it's difficult to win a faceoff when you immediately switch to a stick 4x's heavier too... something the wooden stick proponents never say on tsn and hnic...
He is a native Canadian like myself from a reserve in B.C. As a man hunting bear is a right of passage with his spiritual beliefs. He is a mentor to both his community and an adviser to the youth. Highly looked up too. When you get to know the Carey Price story he is truly a remarkable young man. He smudges before every game also and ask’s the creator for his guidance focus and wisdom. I had the honor of participating in this ritual with him before every Calder cup home game last yr. If this series goes seven and I hope it does not I will once again have this honor and will be attending my first Habs game ever.Aloha511 said:Did you know that Carey Price likes to listen to country music, and shoot bears?
Did you see the clip, I forget where I saw it, but it showed his dad used to fly him to his games when he was a kid. Very cool.Tiffany_69 said:He is a native Canadian like myself from a reserve in B.C. As a man hunting bear is a right of passage with his spiritual beliefs. You sound like one of them visor-wearing french guys grapes loves so much.johnhenrygalt said:The games are better on RDS. It's the same video feed (RDS is usually 3 seconds ahead of CBC) and you don't have to listen to Bob Cole and Don Cherry.
crying in their poutine. Montreal has too many soft euros who will fold when the hitting gets to be too much - Philly in 5The Bandit said:Okay, Les Habs, Aloha, Lionmacer, kirmit, where are you when they lose?
Nice to see a Montreal fan agreeing that he's not Rookie of the Year material.Aloha511 said:Price has looked weak almost every game in the playoffs except the 2 shoutouts, I was not expecting a solid performance tonight nor will I later on, their chances rely on Kovalev, but he is getting hit every 2 seconds
Oh yeah great fans....they Boo certain opposing players(is it because Biron and Briere are F/C and are not playing in Montreal?), throw beer on players in the penalty box, and then trash the town after they win a series.BallzDeep said:the more I watch Habs games the more I realize Montreal is the mecca of hockey, the absolute centre of the hockey universe, probably the best atmospere for any sporting league anywhere.
fuckin A !! Montreal fans are the worst - they booed their own captain, Koivu, when he was undergoing cancer treatment a few years ago. It had something to do with that pussy Ribeiro over some bullshit language thingThe Bandit said:Oh yeah great fans....they Boo certain opposing players(is it because Biron and Briere are F/C and are not playing in Montreal?), throw beer on players in the penalty box, and then trash the town after they win a series.
As for "the best atmosphere for any sporting league anywhere", I think you're taking that a little too far....

With games like tonight, do you really think Price should be rookie of the year? Maybe in the top 3, but "NOT" the winner.
